Just like what Mr. achow101 a staff of the forum. You can't post any affiliate link here in forum for it is prohibited and I guess you need first to read the rules of the forum.

And that is the only way to promote your affiliate link with your signature. But for creating a thread or commenting it, that is against the forum law.

Use signature or tell people that you will send the referral link in Pm. If you will notice all referral related threads has them saying that they will just send the link in PM to avoid deletion of their threads due to disobeying the forum rules.

It's not allowed to post referral/affiliate links in this forum. You can use your signature to promote your affiliate link, but first you need to rank up your account to become able to post links in your signature.

You can't promote referral link on Bitcointalk Forum, it's forbidden. But if you have a website, you can promote it here and inside your website you can paste all your referral links to advertise it to people. Or you can add your affiliate link on your Signature spot on your forum profile settings.

It's not allowed because people would do a big spam with thousands of referral links if it was allowed.

There seems however to be an exception for socalled "tipsters" in the gambling section, according to current moderation of the gambling discussion sub-board.
One can like or dislike that.

I'm neither encouraging the use of affiliate links in posts, nor am I happy with the fact that there are exceptions from this rule, which should be enforced all over the forum.

The rules of the forum apply to PMs as well.

you can't share or promote your affiliate link/refferal link at posting/coment , but you can put your refferal link at your signature.
maybe you can use signature campaign service for share your refferal link at this forum .

but if you really really want to promote,you have several  options that don't break the forum rules:
a)use your signature
b)create a site or a blog ,post your reflinks there,create ANN thread in the service section of the forum to promote that site
c)according to Lutpin,there is an exception for so-called "tipsters" in the gambling section,so if you are one of them-use it
