trouble uploading an image to bitcointalk

everytime i try to upload an image i get the red proxy image.
anyone know why? and how can i solve it:)

i guess your using imgur to upload your images?  as of my personal experience , imgur does not work properly and i usually got that proxy error.  try to use any other image hosting sites like photobucket.com or ctrlq.org/images and itll work just fine.

Most likely you're using the wrong code for forum.

Go to https://imgur.com/upload > Choose your image and upload it > Hover over the uploaded image there > Go over the drop down button and choose "Get share links" > There will be 4 different codes by default, choose the one that has been labeled "BBCode (Forums)" > copy that code over here and everything should work properly.

Can you link us the link image you want to upload? It's also happen to me when I upload old hosted image or it is dead image link.
