Managing a service like this is not as easy as it seems,  especially when it has to do with dealing with spammers.
This requires a full time job not part-time, if not you won't like the outcome on the long run.

I would also suggest changing the current  domain name, with the current name you have, it is setting that  you will have to deal with competitors, starting from this very forum!

I have a suggestion. Before hiring a moderator try to make your site popular . You will get hundreds of moderators to moderate your forum but getting visitors to the forum is really tough. It will be better if you arrange some giveaways , contests or pay per post program to get visitors to your site.
