The biggest mistake novice investors make is worrying about price and not market cap and shares outstanding. PascalCoin however has both a really low market cap and a low price, and is some of the best tech for an actual currency purpose that's out there. It trades on poloniex too boot. I doubled my position on that one. It should be trading 20X higher than it is.

Finishing my point, it doesn't matter how cheap the coin is if there's trillions of them in existence and the market cap is high.  It's even worse if the company is diluting their stock by creating new shares and adding them to the total. Translating this to cryptos, that would be a coin with a high inflation rate like dogecoin had which made it a terrible long term investment relatively speaking. Super cheap, too much dilution, and nothing but hype by the people promoting it.


Ark and Bytecoin have similar market caps but vastly different prices. They might both do well, but I'd take Ark at 4 bucks before bytecoin at .2 cents. It doesn't matter how many coins you have, it matters how much a dollar amount you have invested and how much the market cap could double or more from what it's at. The price of each coin is irrelevant.

I wouldn't call being the number 4 market cap coin being down the ladder.  Ark has 1/30 the market cap, and less than half the market cap of Lisk even though it's the better crypto than lisk. Ark could double much more easily than IOTA.

There are noname coins that will probably go up 5 fold by pumping groups. Knowing which ones is another matter. I try to stick to the tech, but I do need to refresh myself as I've been out of the loop on new cryptos for 6 months. The little research I've done on some of the new stuff so far has left me rather unimpressed. PascalCoin is absurdly cheap. Beyond that, I have more research to do.

Definitely, in this year it was IOTA, but even this coin won't reach 10$ by the end of 2017. ADA, Ripple and NXT - they won't reach 10$ next year, but have really good potential to grow.

Good list in my opinion. However, I am very optimistic in buying coins in this price range because it is so far down the ladder of altcoins. I mean, it is a good think to "buy low, sell high" because that system has been proven in business year after year; however, my fear is that you would have to wait for so much time before your investment materializes. Even the most reliable of altcoins like Eth took a year or so to increase in value from a mere 10 dollars to now in the 300s range. So, if you can be patient, then good catch!

I think it would be XEM. He had already reached 0.60 cents. This coin has good prospects and it's been a few ICO on its platform. This is my opinion

For me is Ripple, electroneum, verge, NEM, Sia Coin. These coin has big potential to boom in next few years, lets just hope. There project is quite beautiful, specially ripple and verge.  Also electronuem, this december their wallet be released.

Verify ( CRED ) is 0.225 USD at their ICO price and expecting to boom next year as it got a sold out within 2 hours and more are asking to sell more, which ICO cant do that therefore you can expect it on the market with more than 10x high.
Atlant ( ATL ) atllant now is on 0.312 USD in the market, their platformm and projects are  starting to grown and seeking more attention in the society, this might end to 1- 1.5 USD next year.

I think market cap gives a better indication whether a crypto is cheap.
You have to see the supply
XRP is .24 but It is actually the 3rd most expensive !
or correction 7th most expensive.

Look at ones with small circulating\total supply. Then just multiply the expected price by total coins. Market cap looks huge? Higher than top 3 coins? Won't happen soon. I believe in ARDR, NXT, NEM, XLM. But it's more safe to bet on Litecoin, Monero, IOTA. They might show similar growth but far less risky.

Miota is now not under $1, let's see how this coin will grow. But under the $1 in my opinion XRP is the strongest one in the market.

You guys could try HAT token. Actually we're on a process of beta testing right now for selected members only have received the build and they will officially released the wallet for staking on 1st of Jan. I can see the project being successful and it is worth a long term investment. This is just my opinion.

My picks would be Oxycoin,Chainlink and probably ADA which are all good for long term hodl. Might get to sub $5 but $10 would be a bag ask it depends on how the developers want to market and improve the coins and functions.

Have a look at Europecoin, Elixir and maybe Mercury, all active developed and with tiny current marketcaps..

I would not bet on IOTA or Ripple, both are already very high valued, not to say overvalued, so there is very little potential for a tenbagger here.

I do not think there will be a coin whose price is below $ 1 could rise to $ 10 in December next year,

I have good list of altcoins under $1 but the best one's i will like to recommend are powr, amb, cob, cag and few real estate tokens have good potential too.

my advice is substratum (sub). good project, good team, good community and a product which is fighting against censorship and working well during the alpha test.

but there are still other coins with potential to grow above one dollar, but it is the crypto world and therefore hard to say ;-)

I dont understand why you focused on the ones below 1 usd. price per token is not important for investment. You should check volumes, total cap and projects. If you invest 100 usd to a token it is not important how many tokens you bought but it is important that how many percent the token price increased.
