Well, maybe just "show me the money" then he will "show you the house"... But no money actually changes hands, and the house remains where it is. That's just my guess.

Hello, HowToVanish and everybody who replied.

As you said Punta is a great spot, thank you for the suggestion about listing it on BitPremier.

And the rest of the year is not such bad weather, even in winter you can have lovely sunny days that will warm you up in the beach, and I my suggestion is to rent the house for startups, live part-time with them and be a "Company Builder" who will take an equity stake, besides rent money.

I have been in talks with a qualified buyer which I have offered to post pictures on a "snapchat" like software or maybe a "bitmessage" extension for pictures, if such thing exists

Thank you all for your suggestions, I hope you also find Punta very interesting for combining Bitcoin ventures with quality living and entertainment.

I also must add that I will also accept for the settlement of the sale 100% US Dollars Cash as well, any combination of Bitcoin/Cash is fine as well.

To clarify this since I have had some questions from some people on this issue via Private Message:

Regarding the U.S. Dollar physical settlement of the purchase, you can open an account in Uruguay in a well-known international bank in which you may already have an account in your home country such as (but not limited to) HSBC, Citibank, RBC, etc. - which can actually make the process easier because there is an assumption of due diligence regarding the lawful origin of the capital.

This means that they already know you in another country and your money has been in that banking system and they know your commercial activity so the funds are clean (a practice known in Banking as KYC compliance -Know Your Customer-)

You can transfer from your existing bank account in your own country to your new bank account in any of these international banks in Uruguay, and you can ask them to set aside a special room in the bank to do the deal where the tellers bring the cash to such room, and you pay for the property INSIDE the bank to the seller (me), which is a huge safety plus for both parties, while, simultaneously, the shares and deed are signed by the seller (me) transferred in your favor in front of a public notary and your choice of lawyer/other.

I am giving all guarantees of safety and privacy for both parties (prospective buyer and myself) and many settlement options like the one described above.

Regards to all and open for any additional questions that you might have.

WHY IS PUNTA DEL ESTE THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO PROFIT WITH BITCOIN:

A combination of:

- Great offshore wealth deposited in a strong yet flexible banking system with bank secrecy. No capital controls.

- A beautiful resort where the wealthy congregate to spend their hard earned money in luxury and bet big in LOTS of casinos without tax agents and/or robbers looking over their shoulders.

- Its a safe jurisdiction 45 minutes away by flight from one of the worlds Bitcoin hotspots that has the greatest probability of becoming widely accepted (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

- The government wants to diversify its economy and not have to depend so much in financial industry services, so it is investing a lot in Technology and specially to educate people in IT Jobs (see Ceibal Project http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceibal_project) because they could be potentially hired from anywhere in the world, generating jobs and investment, it is VERY OPEN to technological innovation, much like Dubai has diversified in technologies like the MASDAR Institute, Real Estate Development and Tourism.

So, the main themes are:

OFFSHORE (FINANCE) / CASINOS / TECHNOLOGY

(July 15 2013) First video from Google Glass in a casino: ‘I felt like I was in a heist movie’
http://venturebeat.com/2013/07/15/first-video-from-google-glass-in-a-casino-i-felt-like-i-was-in-a-heist-movie/

Lets face it, physical gambling is losing ground to virtual gambling very quickly. Although people will always like the experience of real life gambling, the "internet of things" and imperceptible devices like an advanced version of Google glass will give cheaters an advantage over the house and generate big losses.

Most probably, the experience will be recreated via virtual reality technology.

(July 16 2013) BlueBat unveils BlueBox social gamification engine for casinos
http://venturebeat.com/2013/07/16/bluebat-unveils-bluebox-social-gamification-engine-for-casinos-exclusive/
Quote
Social casino gamemakers like Zynga are moving into real-money gambling. The reverse is happening as well, and a startup called BlueBat wants to help casinos move into the world of social games.

And all of these casinos will need to modernize fast, or prepare to start losing money.

The perfect currency for such virtual gambling experiences is of course Bitcoin.

Uruguay is also the the perfect lab experiment to implement such modernization, because of its openness to technology and its fragility due to lack of it, yet has a very free economy. You wont have to be dealing with pesky state laws like in US and Canada since the country is very small, there are no "state autonomies" like in the US or Canada,  the law is the same throughout the country.

Once the model is implemented in Uruguay it can be successfully replicated in many other similar jurisdictions with great profits.

transferred in your favor in front of a public notary and your choice of lawyer/other.

And people should keep in mind that in Uruguay public notary is a path just like being a lawyer. A lot more serious than the notaries in the States. The public notary is pretty much required to transfer the property. And it is always fun transferring property for 'bricks' of cash.  Tongue
