Author Topic: 12 GPU Ethos Rig Keeps disconnecting  (Read 171 times)

I set up a 12 GPU rig and after a few hours it will keep disconnecting, all GPUs will go to 0.00 and I will get there following error from the online monitoring
Rig has not reported in over 3 minutes

Rig Setup
Asrock H110 Pro BTC+
(2) 4gb Crucial
(12) EVGA Geforce GTX 1060 6gb
(2) EVGA 850 GQ
Cor 2000
Mem 4300
(Previous Cor 2138, Previous Members 4608 and I had the same problem)
Mining pool
pool-usa.ethosdistro.com:5001
pool-eu.ethosdistro.com:5001

check it with a monitor and see if rig doesn't crash and make sure to use lan cable not wireless connection and also did you mined with this rig before ? with normal windows or linux?

if you are having connection issues, what brand router do you have, also do you have any switches as well? also what brand. if you have any with LINK in the name, get rid of it as that's prolly your issue. alot of the consumer grade networking hardware that has link in the name has connection issues and eventually fails IE brands like TP-link,d link, linksys
