Also, you have local services that allow you to use your debit card to buy BTC.

You can't use credit card/debit cards directly on localbitcoins, but you can use Paypal or Skrill which both can be loaded with your credit cards. But it is much better to use Coinbase and Circile, as it is very difficult for you to find a trade with Paypal and Skrill on localbitcoins.

No credit/debit on Bitstamp but you find traders that accept Paypal or Skrill with a huge mark-up. They will need to trust you which will not happen overnight if you never used localbitcoins or bitcointalk
