As I`m not from the USA I understand that such platform is needed even more in other countries like in China or even North Europe where there are only snow for 1000 kilometers))  But I`m not really understand what`s  the profit for governments in maintaining the project or you hope only for private initiatives?

Completely agree that quality health service is needed everywhere:)
WELL works and partners with different organization both private and governmental. For instance, Medicare - national social insurance program administered by the United States federal government; myMatrixx® - a full-service workers compensation pharmacy benefit management company; Medi-Cal, Veteran Affairs, Tricare, Medicare Advantage and others. (You are welcome to read the WhitePaper for more specific info)

Government and society in general will also benefit from WELL. I can name some points here:
- no doubt that one of the authorities tasks is to provide access to quality healthcare for their citizens. In some areas and countries there are problems with medical professionals. Thus WELL, as a telemedicine service, can be a great asset for providing  people with qualified medical care, including those living in remote areas.
- teaching professionals. As WELL creates global medical network it will unite specialist all over the world, providing additional training.
- blockchain. Its mean features transparency and security can be of a high importance if we talk about charity issues. It can help to reduce fraud.
- surely, WELL can be an example of advanced technologies in healthcare industry. And public institutions and establishments will only benefit when having insights of it.

Hello and welcome to our project thread!

For now WELL network already includes over 1,600 medical specialists and has built the largest therapist network in California. With the developments of the project we will expand to  other states in the USA and then globally. Today not able to name you the countries we will go first, though the target will be European countries and Asian (plan to establish partnership for Japan, Korea, and China in 2019) as well.

Yes, in 2017 WELL introduced demo/trial version of our telemedicine platform which is built on technology that services multiple healthcare organizations in the USA. Currently we are working on enhancing it capabilities and functions such as connectivity with different devices and wearables, video and conference capabilities, and API
integrations with various EHR/EMR systems.

Plan to release WELL telehealth platform in February 2018.

Many additional features will need to be built in future, such as
● Further expansion of medical providers on the network
● More languages (5 current)

● Integrations, integrations, integrations

● International expansion
