All these people on this thread saying "Don't buy sia" without reason... Sia is for the long term. In Q2/Q3 their ASIC miner Obelisk will be released. I personally think the price of Sia will skyrocket in Q2 and beyond. I have a bag of Sia for the long term, not for daytrading.

Actually Siacoin is quite popular and is supposed to be reliable for investors. I have bought SIA at 56 and will hold it for no less than 90% profit, but it should go even much higher than that.

I think that we are very near to a huge bullish movement on altcoins. I expect it to be much bigger than the first half of this year when there was a huge bull run on alts. When this fully starts, I suppose it has already started as we can see with ripple, litecoin and ETH, we might also see SIA gain a lot of value. And people saying to buy SIA because of the Obelisk are even more ridiculous. You think SIA value now is in the dumps? Wait until 2000+ ASICS are mining another 150k each a month. Add that to te current 31.3 BILLION SC in existence and do some math ... Price goes down, not up.

At the current price of 60 or so satoshi I wouldn't buy SIA, olds are enjoying a nice pump but as soon as bitcoin picks up again I think SIA can drop down to 40 satoshi, of course the alternative is true that it could pump to 100 satoshi but I don't think so.

When I first heard about sia I thought it was just a shitcoin like most coins out there. It turns out I was able to gain many on this than in my other altcoin investments. I say buy now while it is cheap and just wait for it to rise to the top. You will not regret it.
