Lately a crapton of people are starting their own bitcoin accelerator services which is essentially just farming for tips and reputation/trust. Can/will those be counted as low effort, since they're not much better than your "lets shitpost our way to make money outta sig campaign" guys

And guess who are their potential customers ? "Crapton" of people who don't know how to use bitcoin.
I don't know how they work but doesn't look like it will get them any trust or reputation. Most of these idiots use online free accelerator services to forward the transactions posted in the thread.I recently used a similar service on bitcointalk just to check if it actually works, well I still don't know if it actually worked or my transaction got confirmed naturally.

Yeah exactly my point. They're just preying on people who have no idea of how btc works and somehow messed up their fees.

Please compile a list of the users and links of their threads that fall into the *suspected* trust farming group.

P.S. I didn't use the table thingy.. Just used spaces and words cause, you know I'm using my phone to edit and update this.. Cry

** Note :-Not all of them are trust farming, there are one or two exceptions at the most.

Nice work pugman! I don't think thekool1's one counts at he does not even accept tips, i think it's advertising for his company with Loyce V. The rest are all scams and prey on the people who don't know much.

Also seems like there are a lot of newbie accounts made to post up a transaction and never touched again.

Like I said, a few exceptions are there, like thekool1s.  But the others, they only offer their so called service for tips and trust, and nothing else. The number of accelerators in this forum are increasing due to the price rise, and even if a person gives like 0.0001BTC that'd be more than enough for the third world wannabes to manage a day*.
Also seems like there are a lot of newbie accounts made to post up a transaction and never touched again.
Tell me bout it..

*Don't take it offensively

Pugman great job, but as aTriz already said, Thekool1s doesn't accept tips or any sort of profit from this. The rest, well thats another story.

I think everyone other than these are looking for tips/trust ratings. In my opinion, everyone else should be marked with at least a neutral and in some situations, a red trust.

If they are trying to farm trust then yeah that is bad... But..

1. A lot of BTC users don't know much if anything bout how a mempool works, how the fee market really works, what a TX accelerator actually does.. etc..
2. If you can watch the blockchain and pounce on the via accelerator as soon as VIA finds a block then you can get in in maybe the first 1 minute.. The accelerator that actually works, VIA, is hard to get into and takes a lot of time watching to use it at the right moment.. So it's not work free by any means..

3. What's wrong with 1 post accounts using accelerators? You think they might be throwaways used just for that purpose as to not link a TX to a user account? To be anon.. Isn't this pretty much the reason BTCT allows multiple accounts?

If they are abusing it for trust then sure shut em down but if they are simply providing a service in the exchange for tips then why?
If they get tips then they are obviously providing value and if not they will give up..

Agreed that people find it hard to find out how to accelerate a transaction in the first place. Hence, zepher came with a topic and thought them how to accelerate a tx on their own, none of them bothered. Most of the people who ask for acceleration "services" are newbies, Jr. Members, members. They most likely have the same shit grammar, and look like to be a part of another legion of accounts.
Mate, these acceleration sites are free of cost, have used to a couple of times personally. It takes you a couple of mins, only viabtc has a fee issues when the mempool is overloaded.  The overall point of this is that, when you're offering a free service, why bother to ask tip every single time and if a person bluffes and says he'll pay tip but he doesn't idiots leave the person seeking the so called service a neg rating. If they're helping the community, well and done, but this is not what's happening here, they are doing this service for gaining trust and tips, even if you go against it, there's no need for 30 acceleration "services" in this forum.

Maybe some of them who are offering a free service are looking for trust more than tips, a little dubious I'm still. But probably what you're saying is making more sense. I have decided to remove whyfhy ,escrow.ms, sm23031997 for now. Thekool1s, I'm not sure what to do, he's trying to help the community and promote his own brand, I guess... So let me know what are your thoughts.

Actually

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2533591.0 - transactionfast still accepts tips shown here

If the transaction gets confirmed and you feel you want to reward me, pm me and I'll send you an address to send donations to.

So I guess keep that one.

As for this one

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2570482.0 - Rosscy
There is no proof of him trying to obtain trust and he does list where he gets stuff acclerated so I would say his safe.

As for Thekool1s, he released that service around 2-3 days after his BitstopShop release and as you can see -

Designed By BitStopShop.

It just seems like a big advertisement which is fine, as he's not asking for trust or tips so I think it's fine. Mostly just looks like he's showing of his design skills.

As for the whole issue, I think users such as Coolwave, etc that do not show that they are basically acclerating it via Antpool/viabtc on their thread and are a basically picking on newbies should get red trust.
