I'd recommend everyone mine. We need to get the difficulty back down.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I'd recommend everyone mine with a CPU.

Fixed that for you. Smiley

Yes. Thank you. That's what I'm currently doing. 10,000 measly hashes per second on my CPU.

A funny coin.. I see that blocks are going up at around 20 per minute, also difficulty just doubled, but the 30 GEO you sent still have 0 confirmations...

Yeah. Some asshat is mining at 27 MH/s and not including any tx.

"networkhashps" : 6531918,

Nah, no 27MH/s, diff should go up in 60 block increments (and down too). Just remember those of you mining, these coins are WORTHLESS by design. If you like the idea behind the coin, go ahead and mine it. If you don't understand that, go mine something else.

Hmm... Guess it's just being slow. Some of my TX were confirmed.
I guess the god miner is including transactions after all.

Before anyone gets too excited, there were 1 million premined and they are NOT EVER going to go on an exchange so don't start mining them like crazy.
I know! They're absolutely worthless! But they're cool because of puzzle potential and you can attach messages to tx!
I'm also currently controlling 100% of the network, with my CPU. Tongue

 Grin You're fine, and I'll kick in 1000 per addy if people *really want them and to keep instamining away (too late). They are meant to be easy to mine with the built-in miner, but like all scrypt coins they could be diff stranded if some zealot decides to point uber-MH/s at them, which is why they've NEVER been ANN'd here & why I stress that they are worthless aside from the nerdiness in them.

GeoCoins are my personal project to learn more about these coins and most of the innovations are bits I've picked up from the other devs and have made it in to my later coins. Happy coining.

never been announced apart from the link in your signature in every one of your posts, I mined a few back in May sometime out of curiosity...
