It might be a bit early to tell for sure, but it looks like the new 3.3 version might be paying out less at ypool.  I normally have 120-130 XPM in my unconfirmed - usually more towards 130, but I have been watching it gradually go down.  As of right now it is 118.  It may not be the best metric to use, but something to keep an eye on.  With the recent share value change, that is another wildcard in the equation.

You could go back to 3.2 to see if the rate goes back up again. But I think the change is mainly due to the new reward system. You probably were over-rewarded by ypool's previous reward system.

Or run with -bttarget 8 as thats effectively what 3.2 was doing.. You may well get more shares but will reduce blocks..

Do you mean v3.2 doesn't find 9-chains? I have found quite  a few 9s with it. Sometimes the miner didn't find 9s I just restart the miner to sort of fix it. Or is it that 3.2 finds unproportionally more 8s?

Or run with -bttarget 8 as thats effectively what 3.2 was doing.. You may well get more shares but will reduce blocks..

Do you mean v3.2 doesn't find 9-chains? I have found quite  a few 9s with it. Sometimes the miner didn't find 9s I just restart the miner to sort of fix it. Or is it that 3.2 finds unproportionally more 8s?

The sieve is actually a combination of three filters .. A full length cc1 filter, a full length cc2 filter and bitwin filter.. All 3 are meant to target block length.. In 3.2 the bitwin filter has a bug that means odd length targets are filtered on the previous even target..

Currently network difficulty is 9.. So 3.2 was filtering for 9ch cc1 & cc2, but the bitwin filter was filtering on 8ch bitwins not 9ch..

As the length increases the number of potential candidates diminishes rapidly, meaning a faster sieve but a longer search.. Because yPool accepts any chain of at least 6ch, the "extra" bitwins that 3.2 returned would equal additional shares that 3.3 would not find because it would filter then out much earlier in the process..

Both miners are heavily optimized, and will find 9ch and more.. But while 3.2 may have a higher share rate.. 3.3 has a higher block rate..

Stil nothing from beeeer in my wallet. Only 0.1XPM butttt...

Has anyone been able to use the beeeeer miner to mine on ypool? It mines much faster for me.

Where is this at?

beeeeer.org

where's the link to the miner?

Make passive income here.. don't let the name fool you, do your own research and find out for yourself.  it's called exitscam, but it's actually legit.  Looks similar to a ponzi, but it's not.  And it's perfectly legal, not a registered security, as the "dividends" are payouts, not actual dividends.  Check it out at http://exitscam.me/luminium

I'm sure, you will ignore this quest... But can you make any like this for solo?

Support for solo mining is planned and is in progress.

Hello, as difficulty continues to rise, this question started to bothers me more and more. (and I'm sure not only me) Is there any development over the solo mining usage of jhPrimeminer?

Is there any way to check the current balance of your account on Beeeer, or do you just wait until you get paid out?
You can see it on the payout pages.
But it's not very convenient.

Thanks. Even on the latest payout, my address is not there though? Where exactly am I supposed to see it?

**EDIT: I get it now. Thanks for your help Smiley

Sy on ppcointalk made this really cool stats page: http://xpm.syware.de/?address=0 Put your payout address in the URL.

Have you mined valid shared on beeeeer yet? The stats page will only work after you have.

Due to the issues some people have been having with my jsonrpc mod, I have made some changes to my repo.

https://github.com/tandyuk/jhPrimeminer

The master branch is now a plain fork of Rdebourbon's 3.3 for linux.
This can be downloaded using "git clone https://github.com/tandyuk/jhPrimeminer.git"
All the extra headers have been removed, and I have updated the readme and makefiles accordingly.

My json rpc code has been moved to its own branch, and can be downloaded by instead using
"git clone --branch jsonrpc https://github.com/tandyuk/jhPrimeminer.git"

As always, donations are greatfully recieved.

Happy mining Smiley

tried running the primeminer on the beeeeer thread but it crashed on me. Anyone have it working with any of the jhPrimeminer versions?
it crashed because the server was down .. should work ok now servers back up

in the op
http://www.ppcointalk.org/index.php?topic=485.0 is a .diff file attached to the post.

it will fix the getwork protocol for mumus 7.x ...

The less technically inclined will have to live with pre compiled win binaries (cough me cough) Sad

I'm in the same boat, i can't code.  I tried using the various jhPrimeiners with beeeeer, no luck since they all used getwork.  I'm trying out beer bc apparently it's better for smaller (single cpu) miners. and it's always good to support new pools. xolo's miner seems to work about as fast as ypool's, I''m getting ~1.5xpm/day on my 6-core.  some ppl said they got 3x more mining at beer, do they have jhprimeminer patched with the diff file?  or is it just more stuff that's over my head lol

I've gotten 6.42xpm in four days, but I only mined for short intervals, I'd estimate 12hs per day.

so you're getting way more ~2x more than I am.  are you using any special settings? what cpu do you have?

I7 3820 at 4.3ghz, compiled the primeminer myself using hp10 optimizations posted in mikaelh's linux compilation guide.
Getting 2 chains per day, vs the 1.2 chains per day windows build gave me.
Settings I cannot post them right now since my pc is off and I didn't install ssh to connect via putty yet (lazy lol) That's why I don't mine 24/7 yet :p
I'll post them here for you later today.
