With all the lag and payments issues we've been seeing in CSC pools my Dev partner and I have decided to get our own pool running on our server. We expect it to have enough power to operate without any lag. This post marks our soft launch and we invite anyone to come try out the water. If things are going well we will move into a full launch and begin marketing the pool and pursuing further development. We have a lot of plans to continue developing the pool with new coins, and custom features we have yet to see in any other pool. To start, we're just sticking to a basic pool structure to get things rolling and make sure it all works properly.

MooPool.com
Estimated capabilities: 500MH/s (To be upgraded if needed)
VARDIFF
Prop Pool
5% Fee to help cover server costs, and full time development.
0% Fee For First 24 Hours After Launch! (Till 3:00PM EST 12/16/13!)
(We will be adding features to reduce this fee per user, down to 0%!)

just started mining here today, I think it works but I've received 0.02 CSC after 2 hours of mining. GTX260, cgminer without tweaks @ 1636 Kh/s. A cpu miner is also active.

Do I need to adjust cgminers settings and if so, what and how? Can/should I use cudaminer on moopool? (great name btw)

Also the wallet hasnt synced since it fails to connect.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I would use CudaMiner as you will get better hash rates with it. I would check and see if you're actually mining @ 1636kh/s however, as I don't see you reporting that many to the pool. The pool shows you running at 2kh/s. If your workers are in fact connected to the pool, I would be glad to help you find the problem. Thank you for mining with us Smiley

It works great but no transactions after 142 accepted? Can someone explain this?

thanks

The reason you haven't received payout for the current round on Moopool is because we have not found a block. Unfortunately, many of the miners that brought us up to ~20mh/s were simply pool hoppers. After this current round I will be changing the reward system to PPLNS so that loyal miners (like yourself) will get the payout they deserve. I'm very sorry that this round is taking so long, and I promise that after this round pool hoppers will not be exploiting us again. If you'd like, I can send a small amount of CSC to your wallet to make up for lost revenue and also as a sign of thanks for your loyalty to Moopool.

At this rate we're going to hit 1Gh soon. I think it was less than a week ago that I was easily able to solo mine with total network hash in the low to mid double digits (of mega hashes). Amazing growth.

CSC.DEDICATEDPOOL.COM seems ok thanks for that.

Coinarmy deleted my account with all my coins in it...

No worries dude.  Everything is backed up every 30 minutes on DEDICATEDPOOL.COM.  I got so upset at all these bad pools that I finally had to put one up to properly mine without interruption.  Mine with us and we'll make sure you're taken care of.

However you should always set an auto transfer of at around 100-200 coins.  Don't let them pile up.  Get a wallet on your PC or send them to an exchange!

I like the other poster are missing over 900 coins. We never even had the chance to transfer coins out because for hours our accounts were showing 0 coins. Then when the coins did show up the option to cash out was greyed out ( at least on my account ) And now of course my account is showing 0 coins again...And yet for about 7 hours straight i had the 3rd best hashrate...

And the kicker is the email address on their front page cscsupport@coinarmy.com DOES NOT WORK!!. Yes nearly 2014 and a website cannot even check if their email address works

It's unfortunate that this has happened. Can't even begin to imagine the number of coins that may be unrecoverable. If you'd like I can send you a small amount of coins, soften the blow a bit.

This is exactly what happened to me.  I don't let coins accumulate in my account, but with the coinarmy pool I had no choice.  I mined with ~2750 Kh/s for almost 2 days and now my 900+ coins have disappeared.

It's interesting because CoinArmy happens to be using the same front-end as Moopool. I don't know how the hell you can break the front-end (MPOS), it took me 30 minutes to install and I haven't quite touched it since. I sincerely hope that this incident is an honest mistake as I want CasinoCoin to succeed. I'm planning on opening up a gaming website and accepting CasinoCoin. It'd be a damned shame to miss out on a ton of customers because one incident left a bad taste in their mouth. I hope you manage to recover your coins Smiley

Just in case it's useful info....

Over the last few days I have lost coins at coinarmy and moo and mega mineros, most of the other pools have been down.

However, I have been mining successfully for 18hrs now on dedicatedpool with no problems at all, coins being delivered to me no problem. Running 500-550kh/s and expecting to get about 120+ csc per day at present rates.

It's pretty likely that Coinarmy stole from everyone. I'm currently using P2pool.org. Seems ok, but who knows. I just don't have any trust in anything or anyone anymore.

Co-owner of Moopool here, may I ask what username you registered with? If you lost coins I'd like to look into it.

We are not here to scam users.. If a user decides to buy kh/s thats up to them and they have to keep it mining for more then 2 days of the contests to have a chance to win.

This is my favorite pool so far, seems very fast and stable.  Payouts have been prompt as well.
