[2017-12-06] More BTC Fork Clones on the Way: Bitcoin God Will Be Born Xmas Day

It seems forking bitcoin has become a new cryptocurrency obsession lately as a myriad of bitcoin clones are joining the economy. Now two more bitcoin fork ‘snapshots’ seem to be on the horizon, called “Bitcoin God” and “Bcash”.

The well-known Chinese cryptocurrency investor Chandler Guo has revealed he is launching a bitcoin-based fork that will use the ticker ‘GOD.’ Guo details the project is coming December 25 and explains there will not be a premine.

“Bitcoin God (GOD) will be forked off the main bitcoin chain at the block height of 501225, which will happen on December 25th to be symbolic of me giving candy to all bitcoin holders — The total amount will be 21 million — No pre-mine,” explains Chandler Guo via Twitter.

Things are getting so funny in the newly born 'hardfork' industry. Some people could not contain their own greedy dreams and so they are launching their own versions of Bitcoin and hope that the market would bite such an offer. Anyway, as usual, I would be happy to receive my free coins but we know that so much of anything can be bad for health. The same thing can be said of Bitcoin. These hard forks and the subsequent free coins should be controlled and not allowed to flourish in order to protect the general well-being of Bitcoin. Of course, nobody is listening to me so I might as well forget about this suggestion. Go ahead, throw me some free Bitcoin God...we must be going to heaven already not anymore to the moon!

Everytime i see China or Chinese in Bitcoin forum thread i cannot help but to doubt it, I will not say that this coin is the same with Bitcoin Gold,Bitcoin Diamond because there are no pre-mines, but then again, the culture of Forking Bitcoin became a trend now, which absolutely means that we are going to see a lot more of this in future as we see how the ICOs emerge for the past years.

I only wonder about poloniex supporting this fork... I think one day after the fork happens they will announce that they will not give the coins. They have done this before with another airdrop.

Don't get excited already. All forks that we see pop up now are nothing but useless money making opportunities for those behind these forks. These coins have no important economical entities backing them up.

In other words, these will become few buck forks that aren't even worth emptying your BTC addresses for. I am quite sure that these coins, or at least most of them, won't even be listed at exchanges at all, unless it's Yobit.

Everyone can get it's coin listed at Yobit after paying a certain fee.

So Chandler Guo's Bitcoin god, said to be actual alternative to bitcoin, is coming to reality and it will be born on Christmas day. It is to be forked off at the blockheight of 501225 from the main bitcoin chain. Once bitcoin god created, it will many challenges like the one that happened to some previous bitcoin forks
