Happy to help bud!

If its working don't mess with it.  I notice that after we set GEN3 and boot, install the drivers and restart, setting GEN1 works fine. It's bizarre, but it works. All our miners are on GEN3 with the risers we're using right now. One of the rigs here is a bit goofy and sometimes it will lose 4 cards on a reboot. The fix for that is to unplug it for 2 minutes and reboot, then they show up again. I think its the risers holding power or something.

Glad to hear you got it fixed!

Thanks for the help honestly !

This forum is amazing !

Nice to see it works now, sometimes some cards area bit fancy  Tongue

I suppose if you don't have any reason to upgrade, don't do this if your system works as it should be... Anyway that's what I would do, I would be afraid to have to make it work again  Cheesy

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Hey
How did you actually fix this?
I have the exact same setup and the exact same problem.
Tried all the same things you did.
Really frustrated now.
I hope you can tell me how you fixed it.

Thank you
Tim

Never mind... I also fixed it myself right after asking how you did...

I updated the bios to the latest version 7998v1B.

Changed all the settings again... GEN 1, 4G enabled etc. etc. as they were all back to default after flashing the bios.

I am NOT running the latest version of the Nvidia drivers though.
I am running the version that Claymore is suggesting.
But I might try to update the driver... even if I do not feel like messing with it now that all my 6 GPUs are hashing at a total of 185 Mh/s

Great forum here...
Thanks to all

Hey!

Sorry to bring this post back to life. I can't seem to find any other posts that apply. This is the only one that describes my issue.

I'm glad you were able to get 6 GPU's working! I read some other people's posts who said they just returned it and got an expensive mobo. I'd like to avoid that at all costs.

How did you end up getting yours working? What was the actual problem?

Thanks,
    Aaron E.

edit: Didn't see there was a second page. I'll try your solution now and get back to you. In the mean time, did you reinstall windows in UEFI mode or does it work even in Legacy mode? Thanks!
