Having been involved in wallet type industry, it was logical to use that knowledge to develop a system for bitcoin.
We will be commencing the initial stage of our system in the next few days, with updates posted as required.
With the knowledge acquired in previous e-wallet projects (started in 2001), many issues with regards to user usage became the focal point of discussion as many including "our then system", focused on some knowledge of the internet, how it processes data and how data can be used to carry out functions via API's and so on.
As good as systems where back then, there was always an underlying issue of the mom and pop users having difficulty grasping technical language, how processes work and so forth, which negated many users from using these e-wallet type systems.
In this day and age, bitcoins are taking off (and well done to the devs) and again, the same questions are coming up, plus new ones like... "What is a bitcoin"
Using what we have discovered in the past will help us develop what we need to for bitcoin and making for a very user friendly system and as we can avoid the banking system, we can incorporate ideas that where very hard to do with the rules and regulations of Visa, banks and gateways back then and even more so these days, so that we can now facilitate all our concepts to bitcoins ease of use and processing.
