EOS could become the new Ethereum, just as Ethereum could become the new Bitcoin. It can't be automatically excluded, but at the moment Ethereum represents a standard for the majority of projects, so, in the short term, I think it's unrealistic.

A lot of people saying that EOS is going to be next Ethereum

What's your honest opinion? Should we invest or not?

I have invested several ETH. I think that the EOS has certain prospects to become an analog of Ethereum. Everything will depend on how ETH behaves, if he does not start to improve, he will lost the leadership.

Well the main is issue is maintaining the factor of scalability whilst baring decentralisation, EOS may be increased scaling but in relation to it's state of execution it is partially centralised with the delegation system. I hunted down an asset that may bare the technological know-how to produce an effective solution for both conditions, Cypherium has a hybrid BFT/POW consensus algorithm and a Java (also with Solidity modules) based VM for smart contracts. Main-net is to be launched at start of the new year, it's been a year since it's private sale. I believe they have the tech, but do they have the skills to execute adoption is the question.

The ideal would be to invest in the two technologies because although they have similarities, they handle different platforms, EOS is quite revolutionary and undoubtedly in a couple of years, we will hear much more about it, but ethereum is ethereum, so, for now, remains a safe investment.

and then what's the relationship between cypherium and EOS? did you wanna say that cypherium will replace EOS? EOS has a horrible team and there are some people leaving from block.one and try to created a competitor to the block.one itself. EOS is a very centralized system.

it's up to you, if you believe in eos then invest in eos, in my opinion eos is a good coin that proved to be in the 5th position with marketcap of 5 billion.
with the price of ico 1 $ and had time to touch 15 $ prove eos is a good coin, we just need to wait for it, if you want to buy it I think this is the time, because the market conditions are falling now.

It aim to be a VM platform that is scalable and is entirely based on distributed consensus, correct it's in the game to become a competitor with ETH for a more thriving dApp eco-system for more suitable applications. They are working on a new website atm but have been in the background developing their new consensus algo and working partnerships with VC's such as Pantera Capital and IC3 blockchain labs. They have the team for sure (new website will give an insight to it), with support from people like Jeremy Gardner (Co-founder of Augur, Editor of Distributed Magazine) Emin Gün Sirer (World-renowned blockchain researcher) and Patrick Dai (Founder of Qtum)

Check out their PRE-ANN; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2372072.0;t

If you really want to understand what is trying to be accomplished read the whitepaper it's really good, it may seem like a big task to comprehend but it's explained quite well.

I don't think EOS can be the next Ethereum. The status of Ethereum cannot be replaced.

I don't know it's still difficult to predict for this, ethereum is still the best altcoint, eos also shows good progress, but of course it is still difficult for eos to replace ethereum, even if it can certainly take a long time or even years

I think that all you say or predict is true, EOS has become the successor to Ethereum. It's not impossible that the EOS price will soar, now EOS is increasingly popular.

What is cypherium by the way ? I never heard of it before but i only recognized eos and i do also heard alot of positive feedbacks about it so i think eos will never beat by any other unkown coins ( except from eth of course )  .

I totally disagree about the majority of users here that claims eos will be the next eth  .  eos is too small when compared to eth because eth is a major altcoin and the base of all altcoin .  without eth i dont think there will be any other alts .

At this time, i prefer to choose another coins than EOS, well honestly i still don't really fond with EOS, the first thing would be it real hard to create the wallet, and we have to pay in order to create that wallet, which is i think it rather pricey.

I think from the structural and functional development of EOS it might be more than Ethereum because it has all the capabilities of a super blockchain,it's well secured and highly scalable, and can process millions of transactions per second.

well, we don't know the potential for EOS at this time, because currently EOS is also still in development. well, but it can be said that EOS is currently trying to be a better coin compared to ETH. well, ETH is also in a low state right now.

Nothing is impossible  Wink

I think the success of EOS also value + point affects tech blockchain. The issue price of a little mutual marketcap peaked but it takes a pretty significant.

A few hours they exciting to growing ecosystem of blockchain-based applications in the dApps them, you can see into an official twitter account https://twitter.com/eos_io/status/1054306704702222336

I was very enthusiastic on these two platforms such as Ethereum and EOS.

In my opinion  “the success of EOS is very important for the blockchain space. It is good for the blockchain industry as a whole”

It is quite possible. The EOS coin has already been created as the next generation coin and technically bypasses ethereum. In August and September, EOS ranked first in China among the cryptocurrencies by technical level. Ethereum was already there in second place, although it was in first place before.
However, ethereum should not stand still. It is expected to introduce various projects, which may well again put it in first place, including increasing its scalability initially in hundreds of thousands of transactions per second instead of the current fifteen. The struggle between them for the championship will continue. And now it is necessary to take into account that ethereum is very popular among cryptocurrencies, while EOS is still a very young coin. However, given its characteristics, it is worth buying it now, while its price is very cheap.

Cypherieum will outpace or at least contend with EOS and ETH due to is it's consensus protocol, are you guys aware to the centralised aspect of EOS's distribution alongside ETH?

to invest now, it doesn't matter too. but to be able to grow like etherum, it won't happen in the near future. even eos prices are still inferior to litecoin. I think it's hard for Eos to defeat etherum in the near future.

EOS is a good currency and I am sure it has good potential in the future but I personally believe that none of the current altcoin can ever be the next ethereum.
