If one were to buy and hold solid  avaerge coins (not a coin that kicks out and gets 10000% gain), but rather a nice steady gain like eth, Ltc etc (top 20) and starts with 10k, is it possible to reach a million without trading and buying/selling at highs and lows? If so, how long would you predict it would take? Or are most coins not going to last long term, so every 6 months would I have to rebalance with newer coins?

I don't think you'll get this in a year. You'll probably have to wait an average of 3-4 years before your alt coins that you've preciously invested on will grow to new heights. That's why try to invest to as many alt coins as possible because who knows that one day one of those might be price a thousand dollars a pop.

I cannot say we will have the same chances in the future as well because the market is too fluctuating.

I think it would be wise if you would buy as soon as possible. These coins raise at a steady pace and I think if your in for the long term, you should start as soon as possible. Maybe it would take you a couple of years or so, but it will be worth the wait as its more likely for you to have millions.

I suppose it possible, but chances that it happened is very very small. There is no doubt that some coins which price now less then 0.1 $ will grow in hundreds times within nearest couple years. But problems is you never guess which coin it will be.

I think that now there is a good study of the market you can find a few different coins, which during this year can add to the cost of ten times. but it's a big risk. after all, you can not guess and lose everything.

It is possible a million dollars, If you have alot of money to buy crypto for long term investment or trading.

10k to 1 million means x100.
Taking into account the fact that solid coins already have a huge capitalization, such a result will be rather difficult to obtain. I can assume that it will take at least 5 years.

Yes it is possible, But it takes a long time and of course support especially in government. Certainly when the government has accepted the bitcoins and used it as payment, then we are sure we will see the rapid increase in prices.

So hold on bitcoins because we'll see ATH again!

You want to convert your principal amount of $10,000 to $1,000,000? Such fairy tales don't happen very often in the crypto-world. There have been a few coins, which has given 100x or even 1000x returns. But such events occur only once in a blue moon.
