The team was focusing pretty exclusively on development up to this point, so I bet most of you didn't hear/read much about it yet.
ConceptELIX was unlike most other cryptocurrencies not issued through an ICO - it was airdropped as ERC-20 Token to so called genesis address pairs (= 2 Ether addresses), meaning those who participated, received 1 EXOR on the "child address".
By sending some non-zero amount of this EXOR to the "parent address", the smart contract sends back 1 batch of the current mining size in ELIX automatically to the child address. Each genesis pair can mine 10 batches in total.
The longer the genesis hodler wait with mining it, the more they'll get. This way, all existing ELIX are mined through self-mining over time.

HistoryWhen it got listed on the first exchange (Coinexchange) last october, some hype sorrounding ELIX took it to it's first high, but without any real fundamentals in regards of development at that time.

In early April they finally went live with the closed Beta stage and since then more and more invites are sent out to iOS users.

What comes next?According to their latest news, after some minor bug fixing and with the next build being deployed, Android users will receive their invites starting later this week.
Until now, everything is in testing mode, so all transactions made in the app aren't done with real ELIX/ETH, but with "faked" ones. They plan to switch from Ropsten to Ethereum Blockchain in few time.
The public release of their working product is scheduled for late Q2, so counting from today somewhat in less than 6 weeks.
Up to this point, they delivered always in-time what they initially stated in their roadmap, so I'm pretty sure they'll hit this target as well.
Furthermore, they've expanded their development team recently and also engaged an external PR agency to roll out some marketing as the development continues.
