I am writing this to make everyone aware of this SCAM known as Simplex.com.

Many of us try to buy bitcoin using credit cards. The platforms we buy on (e.g. bitcoin.com, changelly.com, etc) have partnered with SIMPLEX.com to process the credit card payments.

You will make the payment and that is the End of The Story. You will keep waiting for your bitcoins but they will never be delivered.

If you talk to the platform support (bitcoin.com, changelly.com, etc), they will simply say that Credit Card payments are processed by Simplex.com and you should contact simplex support. They wont take any responsibility whatsoever.

When you will contact the simplex.com support, they will tell you that your payment has been approved and rest assured your bitcoins would be delivered soon.

and that is it. they will just keep repeating that until the End of Times. There is no way you can do anything about it.

So before buying bitcoins using credit card, please make sure, its not simplex.com which is going to process the payment ultimately. You will loose your money 101%.

Thanks for this warning as this can indeed save many possible victims of this scamming site. Lately, especially now that we are in the holiday season, scam artists are having a field day and majority of the online scammers are now taking advantage of the cryptocurrency craze. We have to be careful and not allow anyone to fool us though sometimes it can be hard because somehow somewhere we still have to trust people online -- people we never meet personally. Maybe we should really harness the power of the blockchain in the conduct of this business and hope there can be an infrastructure for this concern.

after reading this post, I went to consult doctor knows everything (google) and I found many comments from people who are complaining about the bad services provided by simplex.com. Some comments are very sad

I'm another one of the people who's had his money taken from my account without any delivery of Bitcoin. It's been 19 hours since the funds left my account and I can't get as much as a response from Simplex.

I'm now getting concerned as to whether I'm going to get my money back at all. Since Simplex do not respond can somebody confirm that any of these problems are actually being resolved. Are you getting Bitcoin/refunds? How long is it taking? Do you get anything other than automated responses?

One star is too many for a service that has caused this much stress and uncertainty.

Edit: I've now seen that Simplex have closed my service ticket and marked it as resolved. Nothing has been resolved. I'm still waiting for communication and for delivery of my Bitcoin. I'm now concerned that nobody is even looking into this as the ticket is closed.

That’s a very atypical and rare approach to resolving open issues and problems here. Most exchanges give their customers the silent treatment and rarely take the time to offer support on this site. Thanks Sarah, this is a welcome change to the usual pattern of events here. Most exchanges and payment processors show little to no consideration for their customers’ plight and leave them wondering and worrying for days and weeks and even indefinitely.

I hope the above issues will be resolved genuinely and that there will be a positive outcome to report here for a change.

I will be posting a new thread also.  simplex.com duplicated my payments.  I have bank statement with same time charges (same hour same minute) and an email confirmation from the company simplex itself same hour same time.  Yet, they sent me a response saying that I supposedly made this payment within a minute of each other and it is "impossible" that they duplicated the payment.  Well, tell that to your own email address and my bank statement simplex.com.  What bothers me is not the glitch.  It is the way they treated the situation.  They didn't even TRY to figure out what happened. Pretty much said.. nope.. here is your transaction number and there is no way that we duplicated it.  I don't mind companies making a mistake, but I have a problem when they completely blow off customers with real concerns. It shows uncaring for client and not a service centric company at all.  I'd rather do business elsewhere than have a chance to get something like this happen again.

Looks like I am another fraud victim of simplex.com. I was kind of relaxed and didn't expect fraud as I was buying Ethereum from Jaxx Liberty wallet and seems like simplex.com is official partner with this wallet (so, I probably should not trust Jaxx too?) but it is more than 24hrs since money was withdrawn from my card and Ethereum is not received so far. Submitted a ticket to simplex.com support, waiting for response... but not with much hope after all feedback I red

You should at least make out some research first before making any transactions with them.When you are just trying to buy BNB then why not go directly with Binance?

Isn’t this the company that just announced a major deal with SAFEMOON to help get user funds from fiat into SAFEMOON with less middlemen? Seeing such old scam complaints is definitely not a good sign for that arrangement. I hope everyone is able to get what they purchase.

Scam - In market critical period, which happens, payments or others services you might rely on, simply fails. Then you search for other to replace it, and it is how I found Simplex. I've trusted it, read about it's "mission" and other things like that, so I've decided to give it a try. In transaction I was clearly shown what I am signing up for - X of product for X of my money(simple example) and I agreed to that.

What happened - Transaction was held for few hours, market was going up and down that time, I couldn't do anything about but to wait and see if trusting Simplex was worth it, however after that period of waiting, I've received less crypto, that Transaction was made on. I literally got an information I would get a full tomato for 1 coin, and I agreed to that transaction. I've received 2/3 of that tomato for a coin... not sure how to put it better, I just received less than I have signed for.

I've written to their service, absolute corporation and environment trying to discourage people with loss. Support took 1,5 to 2h to contact me via CHAT, what is funny, queue was dropping pretty fast...untill some point. Just like when there were less people in queue waiting for help, along with them support agents were also vanishing. I wasn't discouraged, I wanted to check what I will get(during the process of course their help pages were all made in a way to hide support and discourage you from contact, unless via email, for which reply I still wait right now) During the chat support contact, nice lady said a sentence then pasted prepared information about all the fees and so on - Literally copied all defenses against a customer to discourage him with corpo-bull*t

What happened next is I've posted that at least in my country, it is forbidden by law to sell a product, but send a different one(or in this example sell let's say 1BTC and ultimately, after few H send 0,8 of it for the same money)

I was thrown a lot of information like - You paid a fee of 100$ - I've replied that I was charged 13$ fee, so then she said that thare are fees from platform I bought crypto - but they were counted in already.

I couldn't get any clear answer, why They took part of my crypto as a payment, instead of my money, any refund of missing crypto, any gratification, refund, nothing. It's the type of scam where you cut people for small numbers so they resign, and get rich on fees and small cuts. Absolutely avoid this, unless you like to lose parts of money/crypto and get tossed a tons of automated mails and corpo answers that make yo spin in circles.

They might not have known that Simplex was a scam company or that they might be accomplices. I hope that there will still be a chance that you will get what you bought but given that this is a scam site, it is highly unlikely. Also I think this should be on the Scam Accusations board and OP also has to provide some screenshots for some proof.
