Ethereum To Be $5000-$10000 in 2018?

Why not possible?  
Ethereum is my favorite crypto.I think eth position is after btc.Now all alt coin dumping that's why eth going under 700$ but hopefully eth will touched 5000$ in new year 2018.

It's not possible, but probable. Ether has a strong community and South Koreans like it very much like they love bitcoin. This is another factor for ethereum. Next year, $3,000 won't be surprising for me in ethereum.

It might happen, but it might not.
Ethereum is a very good interms if longterm investment, and proven of being profitable.
But still, even though we research and read some speculation about what will be the price of eth in 2018.
We still didnt know what will be the exact price of it. Lets just wait and hope and lastly trust eth.

Looking at the graph, i can see the struggles of ETH in somehow achieving the speculations of others that ETH will reach 1K USD mark before this year ends. But as the time is closing in, it seems ETH's road is getting bumpy and speculating another price high of 5-10K USD in 2018 is somehow very difficult to achieve.

Surely if bitcoin can be valued at what it is, ethereum can easily be valued at 5k within the next years. Considering how ridiculous btc fees are, and how any advancement in btc creates drama everywhere, I think eth should be worth at least half for being superior in a few ways (IMO)

But I guess bitcoin's rise is due to mainstream money, without really knowing much about it.

So I would imagine that is Bloomberg starts talking about ethereum as much as bitcoin, we could see a quicker rise.

And there we have the starting point for every alt speculator, pumper and holder in buying an alt. If Bitcoin can be valued at X, why not my alt? Crypto logic or asset-for-asset comparison, it makes every sense, but not every logic. I agree that ETH should be worth a bit more (if compared to Bitcoin's price) but then people would argue that what we think is benefit is actually downside.

Bitcoin drama is a benefit, that's decentralization. Bitcoin fees are high, that's demand, and mainstream use. Some alts wish they had drama, and high fees, no?

unequivocally that with the rise in the price of the etherium, the price of transactions increases, when you transfer other cheaper coins, you still have to pay the airspace. Therefore, some points may be disadvantageous. But all the same, I consider the etherium a good investment.

Imho eth can reach much more than 1000, we saw the geometric progression of crypto currency capitalization, so 2018 will be even cooler for us.

soon they will pass 1k and once ETH is on a roll again it mostlikely will be pass 2 & 3k aswell but 10k maybe very late in 2018, still not very sure about that

i dont agree. transmission speed and supply are of course effective. but ethereum is a pretty good investment.
even now, many tokens come out with ether. this situation will increase as time passes. 1000 dollars will pass very easily.

I am strong supporter of Ethereum. I know that nothing is impossible in crypto world, but this numbers are way off, in my opinion. I thing ETH will grow, I am holding in as long term investment and has been very profitable for now, but 5000-10000 is very unrealistic in 2018.

ETH will definitely hit 10K one day but next year is too bullish of a target. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3500$ though. With that said if BTC keeps growing and ETH hits its old 0.15 ratio 10K suddenly becomes more realistic.

Etherum is also most growing profit oriented coin if we take a look of past its price is growing according to its usage and popularity minimum price will reach $5000 in 2018. Its a time to invest in it and hold for couple of months will receive handsome profit.
