I don't get why someone might think you get away with posting the same message 7 times in one thread with one account and 4 times with the other.
It's possible that one of those guys saw the other doing it and thought it to be easy money.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

From my observation (from last night), forum kept going down multiple times (on those times) and as result, users kept posting same posts/threads multiple times (it was all over the forum). I reported few of them and the rest were handled accordingly.

Here's a user that noticed the issue (for his own case): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2615247.0

It would be best to just report similar posts/threads (using "Report to moderator" button).

I've posted it because it looked intentional as the posts weren't made in a short period, like they would be if they had refreshed the page or clicked the post button a couple times while the server was lagging. There were 10 minute gaps between the posts in which other people have posted without issues. Also, they didn't bother to clean it up for hours and moved on to other threads where they kept writing without repetitions, like nothing had happened.
Bottom line is that the reports got through and it's all back in order.
