Is Robin Hood a thief or not?  Lips sealed
Of course he's a thief.  And the only way it could possibly be justified is if the gains were ill-gotten by the one he was stealing from.  AFAIK, AnonX didn't receive his coins through ill-gotten means.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

seemingly, he was labeled a scamer when he wasn't. nobody listened to him and they all rated him really badly and he got kicked out of the forum or something. so he set up two people that rated him badly with the same trick that was used on him, both parties affected split the money that was left and the guy seemingly gave away all the money he took, and gave some of it back to the people he took it from. apparently just really pissed and wanting to make a point. no idea how much was given back though. but parties involved think its a lesson learned for everyone. Lesson: don't blame people just cause they seem guilty, and trust who your trading money for BTC with. (man in the middle attack is cool... bad but cool >_>)

IF YOU GOOGLE the first line of this code he pasted:
Quote

...you will find a very short list of returns. clicking both of them makes it pretty clear what the attempt is.

google search for that code:
http://is.gd/TdqZ1x

first result link: http://www.digitalgangster.com/4um/showthread.php?149063-bitcoinz-fun

second result link: http://illmob.org/Sources/RobinHood.html
I'm not sure when the second link was put up, but it was indexed by google on 24 June (according to google cache).

Also, from the chat logs of that night:
Quote
#bitcoin-otc-2011-06-21:06:48 < FooDSt4mP> im a liar
#bitcoin-otc-2011-06-21:06:48 < FooDSt4mP> i dont steal wallets

#bitcoin-otc-2011-06-21:06:51 < FooDSt4mP> its to get silver
...It's to get silver.  There's also this gem where he claims to own Ben Franklin's eyeglasses:
Quote
06:34 < briareus> FooDSt4mP: you're acting like you now have something to prove....
06:34 < briareus> [06:21] < FooDSt4mP> i dont have to prove anything :0  <-- BILLBOARD
06:34 < FooDSt4mP> 6667 dcash ill say that in the video
06:34 < FooDSt4mP> imma show you my million $ wall Smiley
06:34 < FooDSt4mP> imma get on that here within the next bit, ill have it up soon
06:35 < FooDSt4mP> ben franklins bifocals, george washingtons casket, his hair, autographs from over 12 prez's.. we're gonna have a museum up today
06:35 < FooDSt4mP> i dont have anything to prove i just wanna show everybody my shit
06:36 < FooDSt4mP> i wanna sell some of it
06:36 < FooDSt4mP> i have 700+ oz of gold here
06:36 < FooDSt4mP> about 1000 or so of silver
06:36 < FooDSt4mP> wanna flip the au for ag
06:37 < FooDSt4mP> between the 3 guys in this house, we make over 1M USD a year.  For somebody to think im on here scamming, its just funny to me
06:37 < FooDSt4mP> it tickles me pink
06:37 < FooDSt4mP> ive had fame for a long long time :0
06:37 < FooDSt4mP> ill be fine
06:38 < FooDSt4mP> i havent done hookers/blow in a long long time Smiley
... So FooDSt4mP is not someone who shies away from making claims that seem... inflated.

Finally, for a guy who says the information about him being in Dallas is incorrect, there's this little bit:
Quote
18:59 < FooDSt4mP>       Jun 9, 2011            Debit Card Signature Purchase To         TIGER CABARET DALLAS TX        Completed       Details Debit Card Signature Purchase To TIGER CABARET DALLAS TX 2A761794XV4

18:59 < FooDSt4mP> Select record 4               Jun 9, 2011            Debit Card Signature Purchase To         TIGER CABARET DALLAS TX        Completed       Details Debit Card Signature Purchase To TIGER CABAR
ET DALLAS TX 3LB27548P7925115P              -$110.00        $0.00   -$110.00 USD   hehehehe
18:59 < FooDSt4mP> i ended up blowing 3k that night Sad
18:59 < iera> FooDSt4mP: what did you do?
18:59 < FooDSt4mP> got my room mate a bunch of strippers

If you think this FooDSt4mP character isn't full of shit and a thief, you haven't interacted with him enough. I WAS IN #bitcoin-court that day (11th of June iirc) when he was being accused of stealing bitcoin from another user. As soon as the other user produced the block explorer link showing the transaction had occurred, FooDSt4mP went silent and conveniently timed out and was gone for days. Hence all his negative ratings here: http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=FooDSt4mP&sign=ANY&type=RECV

IMO FooDSt4mP is an attention whore, nothing more, nothing less.  AnonX I'm sorry you got scammed and don't want to be mean, but come on, how many red flags did you need him to throw up?  He SCREAMED scammer the whole time and you were dumb for falling prey to him.

Edit: Ben Franklin's eyeglasses is too much like I said attention whore.  I'll be happy to give him what he wants people like him are funny.

sure does warm my heart to see people in other threads who talk about property rights like they were given to humans by god himself openly asking for stolen bitcoins.

and a global moderator asking for them as well.

stay classy bitcoin.

I didn't even notice that, just because they're mods doesn't mean they're good people obviously.

not to excuse it, not even to say they planned to return them. But if the guy plans to dump all the stolen funds into random accounts, why not get a piece?

Well considering the response I've received in other threads regarding theft.  I honestly think this whole forum is full of fucking thieves.   I'll not do business with any asshole THIEF that has put their address out there to receive stolen coins in this thread.  Yes, asking for known stolen bitcoins makes you a THIEF.

And I don't forget.

In my defense, I thought Foodstamp had scammed other scammers to get his coins back. So I played along. As soon as AnonX explained himself, I passed the token right back.

Wonderful lesson in the ease of bitcoin transactions, and human nature!

I assumed you were all taking the money to return it in PM. But you so gleefully fuck each other. I'm ashamed to be a member of this community of geeks, libertarians, and thieves.

That was my intention, but he never sent me anything.  I PM'd the guy who got scammed when i posted in here asking for his payment addy just in case douche lord sent me some of his stolen btc.

It's sad how scammers and hackers have had such a negative impact on btc.

Indeed.

Someone else asked if his information had been passed onto law enforcement. But I have a better question:

Has anyone given his address to thugs in his area, and told them that he claims 700oz of gold, 1000oz of silver etc are in the house?

Who want's to bet I don't have George Washington's hair, also a chunk of his casket, Ben Franklins eye glasses, and 30 presidential autographs?   Who wants to lose money?
I bet in gold, silver, or BTC... No USD$ please.  I do take AUD/CAD/CHF though.

Put your money where your mouth is... I'll make a pretty video for you.

The non-state-supported thugs don't have to worry about pesky paperwork, they can mobilize tonight, as soon as the information is on FooDSt4mP's local craigslist.
