I've mined on an off on this pool for several months and lately I've been astounded. I don't want to mine anything else for a good long bit, I have a feeling this is going to be profitable for quite some time. h20, excellent work. I loved watching the small waves of bitcoin turn into tsunamis.

I just put up a *very beta* european server. Connect to eu.middlecoin.com:3333. It's in Ireland. Tell me if it works, or doesn't. If you mine on it, make sure your hashrate on the webpage doesn't drop to zero, or do anything funky. I'm pointing my 7850 and 4770k at your new EU-server for the coming few days and will report on it then (or earlier if something is up). Really interested to see how it works out! For today's payout, I only paid out people above >0.01 BTC. In the future, I'll make it so that you will get paid either if you have >0.01 BTC, or if you haven't been paid in 7 days and have 0.001 BTC.
Why increase the minimum? Sure, the payouts these last days have been _really_ good, so even those with relatively low hash rates would get daily payouts, but I expect things to go back to normal at a certain point and that would mean less frequent payouts for us mere mortals with a single GPU, right?

Thanks very much I'll switch over the next gpu

Have switched one rigg over to EU, 1 reject in 140 accepted, no stales will switch the rest over during the day. Anyone else experiencing that the hashrate on the firstpage & personal seems way low? mine is about 35-40% lower than what i should be having.. DB / display issues ?

Hi Everyone!
Yay I can finally leave a message here ^_^
I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to H20 for putting this pool together! Thank you man, for all your hardwork, effort and continuous upgrading to the pool. Do not listen to those who give you anything negative (unless its constructive of course) as you are doing a fantastic job.
I am new to this mining malarkey and just got my first rig together at the weekend and started mining on Sunday. I decided to use this pool as it sounded like such a neat idea and that fact it paid in BTC was the icing on the cake.
So far my returns have been around 2 or 3 times what I was guessing and have been very happy with the last few days of mining. Also appreciate that whenever there is a problem H20 is on it.
So a massive thanks and much love (c:

The new EU pool is working a treat for me. Cut my Reject rate down from around 8-10% to just 2%.
Does anyone know if that's because I'm actually from Europe? ie the server is closer to me, compared to the US server?
Or could it just be that the current coin has changed?

Great work H2o - 0.12348908 BTC here for me today, outstanding result for my paltry 2.6 MH/s!
Is there something wrong from my side? 2.2MH/s and I got paid only 0.017BTC

I'm not quite sure, but as far as I can tell: pinging an US server from europe lead to an ping about 150 - 200ms (on top of your "normal" ping --- depending on location US-west vs US-east obviously). If you commit a share it is better for you to get transferred as fast as possible. If it takes too long, the job is already done ->rejects are following.

uhhmmm anyone worried the same way I am? With BTC dropping THAT hard (490$ right now; -30% last 24h and continuing) I am afraid to get an earning at all out of it.... since energy costs are quite high here (about 25ct per kwh). hmmm I am aware of the fact that no one can really tell, but: What do you think? Is BTC going up to 1000$ again? Is it about to die anda nextgen coin will shine (maybe NXT)? Well I don't panic with one course drop and will continue mining. anyway I am at least concerned. #edit: 470$ thanks chinese government ...... One more thought my mind just crossed: if BTC will stay low that would mean less miners / more BTC for altcoin mining. So in the ultimate end would it may NOT affect our earnings at all, since we just get more BTC for the same hashrate? well after hours you should not see a blank field! Is the rejected column blank, too? You should show us your cgminer/bfgminer call statement! There seems something wrong

Thanks. cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://net.smalltimeminer.com:3336 -u ellave.1 -p x -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 -u 1Gud1MyEd3hYSWjG291q6eSKN1qo68v8NC -p x I use cgwatcher its set to middlecoin as top priority, I have 2 rigs going do they have to use different wallets? Also maybe too many rejects on the gpu's e.g one gpu is A:118997 R: 6720 ?

There seems something wrong Btc's short history shows a cycle of sell offs/crashes before rising again eventually. Proportionally this isn't even the biggest example of it.

I'm slightly worried, because in the last few weeks I've been mining I haven't cashed out my earnings. I've made about 0.175 BTC in nearly three weeks, which first translated into roughly 175 EUR and now into 55 EUR. I've used just over 1 EUR in electricity per day extra because of my mining activity, so I haven't made a loss, but the way BTC is going down, that won't be the case for much longer. I'm saving on gas costs though, because I don't need to turn up the heating as much! (Not kidding!) Still have to take that into account. Alt-coins will still be more profitable than BTC, but they are connected to BTC in some way and they'll go down with it. We're not protected from this current drop because we're mining alt-coins, as far as I can tell.
