Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Since the last week of April, I have been diligently researching the first year history of Quark.  Some may say that Quark has become a very quiet community.  Nevertheless, I want to produce is historical narrative.  Here is a preliminary cover:

It is going to be the seventh book in the "Crypto Book Series".  Please support this project by donating at:

what happened to that shaq game we all raised a fortune for? was it just a scam?

Let's fork this and stick some masternodes or pos or something into it.  Those naysayers before were just trying to hold the coin back and destroy it.

Even a total coin swap to something totally updated could be a good idea.

The holders are still holding but nothing is happening. Give them some reason to return and the community will come to life again.

Is this coin one of the oldest and still has great volume not on polo??? why exactly is that?

The Shaq Fu team haven't updated their Facebook page since December so no idea what's going on there.

Good idea, let's do something. As far as I know there still isn't a working mac wallet.

Even a total coin swap to something totally updated could be a good idea.
How would that work?

Well a coin swap via exchange will be required if we swapped to an ethereum codebase or something like that.
This algo was great a while back. There is still quite a bit of value in QRK I would strongly suggest whilst there is still a chance to use this value to bring in some decent dev team that don't want sit around watching quark die.

Perhaps even collaboration with another community with a strong devloper could be very useful.

There are far smaller CAP coins with very talented developers.

David zimbeck for one and Ghostlander is an excellent developer with a lot of talent. It would well be worth consulting with ghostlander on what could be done for QRK. It is a very very recognised coin. There is no point watching qrk head for 100k cap value.

We are watching it die it was over 1m for a while and now is dipping under and will dip further.

Any big quark holders out there should act now.

Start using the quark value that is left now or watch it die.

we need to contact the big quark holders before contacting ghostlander. The guy has talent but he won't work for free. We would either need to get a big pot of qrk together or allow him to forge a superblock for his funding. The guy seems very fair and above board. DZ is busy i think with his other things.
Either way qrk is now a relic and needs to be improved or its dead. There is no real interest in mining it at the current rewards.

Ghostlander or another skilled dev would maybe like to become head dev for an old and famous coin like qrk but then again he may not. I contacted him once for a private project and he was not interested. Talented people are in demand i guess he will see what qrk has to offer.

either way ghostlander or another dev needs to do something about qrk asap. it's just another zombie without development.

There are other talented devs maybe if he is not interested we need to reach out to others whilst qrk still has some purchasing power.

lol

I have left the writing on the back cover until I have researched the coin fully.  Please do not be very critical Tongue

I have written 6 books which are on Amazon.

IT WAS THE FIRST CRYPTOCURRENCY TO ..

...use 9 rounds of hashing including 3 random rounds, which gave security, but also turned out to be very fast and efficient.

If you are having trouble finding nodes:

1. Ensure you are on the latest version (0.9.2.7)

2. If you haven't used your wallet in a while, delete your peers.dat file in the Quark data directory, it might contain stale nodes.

3. Wait a minute after startup, it should find the seed nodes automatically

4. If you still have problems, here are some nodes you can manually add:

104.54.218.167
192.241.151.155
208.94.242.218
90.14.226.20
109.190.236.252
96.18.144.46
79.172.215.68
