you shouldn't just take the lowest price. the $12k price was the bottom of the dip after the correction and some panic sell. the rise was basically started at $16,500 bottom. in that case this rise is a 15% rise which is not that huge when you look at it like that.

with that said, this is bitcoin, it has always risen like this. people FOMO buy a lot. and there are times when there is a surge of new investors.

Nothing would be certain, we just have to believe that it would still increase to $20k or more by the end of the year. There are still many factors that could change the tide of where bitcoin stands. Let's just hope for the better and not be so negative about it that a crash will happen anytime soon.

The increase wasn't actually that much. The only reason why you see around a 35% rise is because the correction took bitcoin price down from around $18000 apiece to around $13000 apiece, so really the rise from the $18000 level to now was only around $1500 per coin.

Not that much in crypto standards, that means there could potentially be more pumps.

Personally by the end of december 1) we could easily see a $20k level. 2) we'll probably see around a $3000 per coin growth as least, making price in the range of $21k-23k. Not sure what exactly the pricing will be though, that's obviously extremely hard to predict.

It was already predicted by most experienced traders that the price will reach $20k by end of 2017 and currently almost there.
Based on my personal speculation, we will nearly see it more higher about $22000 before end of december.
The demand of bitcoin is still so high, therefore may increase more than our expectations

People search for bitcoin, and then about a week later they buy bitcoin.

Look at how the graph suddenly starts to spike from the 25th NOvember onwards.

It now seems to have leveled off a bit. If it starts to drop, we know that the supply of new buyers will shrink, and it's likely then that the price will fall back. At the moment people cashing out are being more than cancelled out by new buyers, but when the buyers dry up the sellers will dominate.

My prediction that the end of the year and Christmas will be the peak of the bitcoin price increase this year and in 2018 I think everything will run more stable. We've seen a fantastic increase in bitcoin prices over the past year and next year I would prefer a more stable bitcoin price that would appeal more people to using bitcoin as a medium of financial transactions.

Yes no one could beat Bitcoin in the market price but all the other coins to be listed in other exchange must pay in Bitcoin. So the demand is getting high. Yes in last two weeks a lot of people have sold their bitcoin because its price was very high and still its price is going high some of the people they have sold bitcoin and some of them have still keep it on hold so bitcoin is very good currency for profit and this year bitcoin is giving outstanding profit to its users so in next week bitcoin price will be more high and its investors can take a very good profit from it.

After the bitcoin price reaches $20k from $19k... the bitcoin went through heavy market correction where bitcoin loses about $45% of it original value. The bitcoin price went down to $11k all because of the correction. Then, bitcoin manages to recover to $17k and it went through another correction.
