Hello,

I am looking for a solution to track coins' price and change in my excel spreadsheet.

I found this video and this would be a great solution to me, but it does not work because I am getting script errors, and no matter what I press (yes/no), they still keep popping up:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJ7-GyYxmEI

Maybe someone knows how to fix this or can share other solution to this?

What I am looking for is a comfortable way to track coins prices and their % change during 24hrs, 7 days etc.

I look forward to hearing from you, thank you!

I am looking for a solution to track coins' price and change in my excel spreadsheet.

Are you sure that you can do it with excel? it might be a little bit difficult, i have been studying and learning about excel for more than two years and far as i know there isn't a real formula to import data from the internet that is constantly changing every two minutes (as coinmarketcap does)
Maybe you will need a script or just use any other software that allows you to do so.

Better if you guys just used google sheets to do this, there is already an app that allows you to import the prices and you don't need to code anything else. It's an add-on called cryptofinance. You just need to input the pair (ETH/BTC, LTC/BTC, NLC2/BTC, BAT/ETH, etc.). Then the add-on just takes the prices from coinmarketcap instantly. I've used this for quite sometime and it's been reliable so far.

Google spreadsheet is better, you can open the sheets anywhere or on any device. i have been using this nice open source script(https://github.com/bradjasper/CryptocurrencySpreadsheetUtils) to keep track of coins prices/portfolio. give it a try?

I have already made the spreadsheet for myself regarding coinmarketcap.

What I am trying to do now, is import data from exchange (bittrex), but I am getting this error

Does anybody know how to fix this? So I could import data from bittrex into excel?

Try to use a web scraper rather than direct to an excel sheet. Excel sometimes encounters error when scraping.

Try octaparse or webscraper.io they both used in scraping. Or let somebody to the scraping for you. Hire some freelancer who can do a web scraping.

Will, for me that a nice move on how you track the coin market cap,but tracking the price value of market data is like you cathing a sticky fish in the ocean ,that why you failed.bitcoin is unpredictable  crypto currency, we cannot determine the exact day when the times its pump or dump only things we can do is follow the basic analysis, leave the things happen normally and find the right exact timing to when the times you do a trading process.

Thanks for the tip I did not even knew that existed I'm going to test it and report my results.

It is okay, the output format is either in xlsx or csv file. You can still perform calculations and formulas if needed. More like you will get a raw data that needs cleaning.

but I need raw data that can refresh as often as possible and excel is perfect for that, it allows refreshing data of queries every 1 min.

Still looking for a solution of importing exchanges' API into excel!!
