Just found https://bitcoinware.shop/ and they have great pricing on the Antminer S9, but something just seems off with these guys.

It's almost a carbon copy of another site called bitcoinware.net

Is it a scam?

I'd say every single one of these 'shops' are scams, until they have made serious effort proving themself legit.

Probably yes? But still I'll prefer those trusted sites like Amazon or ebay. You know maybe those "shops" are good to be true and I usually observe those "shops" to be scams or not. But it is too risky to try one.

Yeah looks quite scam. 3 months old domain, hidden origin, but listed as Canadian website. Its mirroring stuff from bitcoinware.net, which is not a scam, but the guy running it... doesn't provide a good service. Considering the 50-100% minimum markup on the listed products, you'd think he'd hire staff if he find his job is too hard to do. Please ignore the following;

rant;
I've had multiple problems with him, last one is buying ASICs and not getting any sort of reply or feedbacks when asking why the devices due for 6 weeks before hadnt even been shipped, or he didnt have 2 minutes to update his website to let people know the batch was delayed due for whenever x new date. You can check his website now he still has pre order for November batches.............. >.>

In the end i told him i did a charge back and hoped he would have enough complaint registered to open a fraud investigation and lo and behold near immediate response and full refund. Sorry dude if you're reading this, but as a customer, your service is worse than cheap Chinese websites. When you're worse than Bitmain, it ought to send you a wake up call or something. Anyways.

yes confirm scam, the website is down yesterday with no sign of recovery, place the order and paid by bitcoin, learned an expensive lesson.

I feel for you dude.  I went through that same thing with agobooks.ro last week.  Early this morning the website was taking down so I'm out the cost of two L3+ units.  Like you, expensive lesson learned.  Best thing for us to do is make sure to spread the word and our experiences so that no one else gets hooked.  The louder we are, the harder it will be for these unscrupulous bastards to prey on people!

Cheers!

Ouch, I'm sorry that another member here have been scammed. Please, always remember this, "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is". A lot of members have been scammed by this website who are popping out like mushrooms. One closes then another one open with the same goal. You should have done some investigation mate before ordering from someone who doesn't have even 1 review. Another tip, just checked the website age, if its brand 100% I'm sure its not legit and trusted. I know that ordering in bitmain is such a pain in the ass before of the long delays plus you have to wait for 6 months, pre-order, but its better to go to them instead of ordering from someone and losing your money. It really a hard lessons and very expensive for one. I think the forum should have a list of all scam sites selling mining hardware so that all we have to do is look at that list and if you are a potential buyer and found out that the websites that you are looking for in on the list then at least you have a opportunity not to be scam.

Its down and they ran away. They do accumulate enough money for them to scam and sorry for the loss of those people who did easily got fooled on lower pricing. This is why we should really be careful.

If it’s the same dude as bitcoin.ware as Bitcoinware.shop.
   I filed IC3 complaint FBI and FTC complaint. I lost 4K worth of bitcoin. Also filed a claim with Coinbase and Shopify. Expensive lesson learned.  Bitcoinware.shop came to this number in 5560 Hummingbird LN OK 1-580-364-7784  was the merchant info from bitcoinware.shop

Anyone live near lol?
