Today is New Year and I think you already know that the value of bitcoin didn't reached the expected $22,000 but it's fine because assuming the highest value of it means you are a positive thinker which is a good traits. However, based on the blockfolio apps, the value of bitcoin is $12,960.01 and it is really too far to what you are expecting but who knows? Maybe these coming months, the value of bitcoin will pump again. Let's just hope for a better result.

Yes, I agree that Bitcoin shows what it can do the past year. Starting from $1k at the beginning and ending around $18k and almost hitting $20k which surpass the prediction of around $10k is a very incredible feat. But, your prediction for this year is way over the line. First, the coins circulating around the web is only at 16 million and there are tendencies it will still go down for a bit as more people either switch into other coins to invest, dumping away their possession of coins in exchange to a more potential currency or lack of population that support BTC. Second, it will take more years to mine the maximum supply of BTC which might affect its value if it starts to run out. But, the more coins harvested, the higher difficulty will be. Hence, longer duration to gather all BTC's. This will result for an enough supply even though the demand increases and will result for a more stable value of Bitcoin instead of growing up.
