Also Dev has mentioned the exchanges are supporting the swap, so you do not need to withdraw your coins. I will recommend everyone keep checking discord, the wallets will be out anytime now.

I asked in the CryptoBridge discord if they are supporting this MDC "swap", and they didn't even know about it, so I don't trust that this information is legit.

CB will delist hardforked coins, they asked listing fee again. lol

How exactly is there a swap starting now? The OP still has the old wallet listed. The Github repository still only has the old wallet under Releases.

The website https://madcoin.life/ only says "Coming Soon" but has no details on a swap or how to participate in it.

What is going on here?  Who is mis-managing this coin, and how is there a swap without any publicly disclosed way to download a wallet or participate?

You aren't updating ANYWHERE other than discord.  Not your website.  Not the OP.  You didn't even have a wallet until AFTER the swap was supposed to start!

I lost over 1,000 on the last swap because there was almost no communication and there wasn't even 2 weeks to do the swap--and that was over Christmas break when most people are on vacation.

Assuming this swap actually goes through, I'm done with Madcoin.  I can't stay with a project that is so poorly mismanaged and only interested in selling masternodes.

I think I wait a few weeks before returning back to Mad Coin. Hopefully the dark clouds above this project are cleared by then.

My coins are still sitting on that exchange, but they are called "Madcoin (original)" and I cannot trade them.

Did the swap already happen? Is crex24.com still going to swap my MDC?

I did join discord a couple of weeks ago and was told to put my coins on crex24, and that the exchange would handle the swap.

I went on vacation and came back and it looks like now the rules have changed?

BTW if you can only get swap information on a discord server, then it is not a well-communicated swap. Bitcointalk OP is searchable in Google, and therefore available to the public, as well as historically archived.

I can see my balance on both chains.

Staking in the old chain works really well.
