That's a funny idea. "Hiring" people to check airdrop applicants.  Cheesy
The best way imo is to connect multiple accounts so that you can't apply with your 389 BCT alt accounts. Telegram needs a phone number, for example. Most people have only one number and one Telegram account so that would reduce the abuse.

a telephone package cost $2-3
the only way to prevent abuse is the rank
or maybe they should require a retinal scan  Grin
Yeah anyone can buy a burner phone for a few dollars so that isn't much of a deterent.  High rank is likely the best way because even if you created a million alt accounts, you didn't make enough posts on all of them to get to the high ranks.  That would be an insane amount of work for a person.

No system is perfect. Restricting the air drop to high rank members is as good as any other system.

The old DeepOnion system of checking the quality of every post of every participant going back to the beginning of their account was good, but required a lot of man power, and will only really catch the obvious sock puppet accounts. The Telegram idea is flawed, because it's easy to get a throwaway number.

No system is perfect, but the Sr. Member and up seems like the best so far because it would just be too difficult to rank up multiple accounts. Sounds like torture.

So far the best system that I've seen to eliminate sock puppets is the current Deep Onion system in which the air drop amount is based on the percentage of the coin one has, thus having multiple accounts just means extra work for actually less coins (too long to explain why it's less). But at this point such a system would benefit the Github sock puppets, unless they already sold their Sirius coins.

So I guess higher rank accounts is still the best option for Sirius. The higher the rank the better. Hero Member and up would probably almost eliminate sock puppets, but that's easy for me to say since I'm a Hero Member.

Interesting how everyone suggesting the airdrops  should be limited to senior member and above are senior members themselves. Given how most senior members sold their portion of the last airdrops in the OTC thread, I'll suggest the admin should scrap the whole free airdrop system and stick with distributing through donations

Like I said, the system that prevents the most sock puppets is the one based on the percentage of coins an individual has. Other than that which system do you think will eliminate the most sock puppets? There's no perfect system, but Sr. Member and up dramatically reduces fraud compared to open to anyone.

You're right as far as cheating goes but at this early stage of the coin the devs could be interested in achieving as wide a distribution as possible and this would be hindered by a proof of stake airdrop.

It seems that most of the people are waiting the news for sencond distribution. Anyone have information from Dev?
If dev team can list Sirius on the exchange soon, that will be a good opportunity to collect some SIRX.

Sure, most of us waiting for 2nd stage of distribution and I hope that it will be available not for Sr.Memebers, Hero and Legendary only. You can buy Sirius directly from holders without exchange if you want.

The second distribution will absolutely be not limited to Sr. Members and up only. I think they will try to distribute on it on more people

Hey, firend, there's no reward for Sirius, but there's a airdrop, the first phase is over, and the second phase is going to start, and you can pay attention.

I also think so, open and read, and all the information in general words, and for a long time already known, is simply collected and organized together. Well, at least something, we will wait for further updates.

Yep, I'm a bit disappointed after reading it.
Not much information we get there.
I hope Dev soon launches the White paper.
