Hi people - new to mining,

Im a button click away from buying 4 x S9 Antminers OR 4 x L3+ Litecoin miners,

Or 2 of each Smiley

Let say electric isn't an issue (solar covering costs), so my only real cost is Hardware.

Firstly any advice on buying S9's over Litecoin miners? In my mind with BTC difficulty on the up, would Litecoin mining be a better option?

Secondly I would like to ask about profit. What sort of profit do you make from 1 x S9 or 1 x L3+?

Are the mining calculators accurate?

For example running 1 x S9 @ around 13.5 TH/s shows $916 profit per month:

https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/btc?HashingPower=13.5&HashingUnit=TH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=0&CostPerkWh=0.12

& running 1 x L3+@ 504 MH/s shows $642 profit per month:

https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/ltc?HashingPower=504&HashingUnit=MH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=0&CostPerkWh=0.12

 Grin

So my aim is to run 4 x S9 or 4 x L3+ (zero elec costs) and profit between $2500 - $3600 a month,

Is this feasible?

Cheers people!  Cheesy

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.
