I can imagine a scenario like this.

A ship with no crew docks in the harbour, and hundreds of auto drones just pick up packages and dispatch them.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

It is that, but its even more, from what i understand. For example, you are on some trip,or not using your autonomous car at the moment,DAV will connect your car with someone that needs transport. So in that way you earn DAV tokens.

Like Uber?

But with DAV,you sit at home and watch film and drink beer while your car is working for you Cheesy

I can understand why that idea is not appealing to you,but i think i read recently some article, where they said that vehicle sharing is actually future. Not sure how they gonna implement tho..i can see many issues. But many benefits too.

Bro,
I understand. For us guys, cars are personal.
But look at it this way, maybe you own a business with several cards. It wouldn't be your personal car, but a means to make money. Like taxi

Yeah, but then i would assume it would be generic non-custom cards. Like in all those SCIFI movies where they all look the same

No specific country but DAV is registered in Switzerland

So Switzerland will be the main testing ground?

Switzerland would be ideal for testing this.
It's a low crime rich country, has all types of terrain.

I saw video recently, where Amazon is using  only drones for their warehouse.Things are moving fast in this direction, thats why DAV could be huge success.
