• You download the TV-TWO app on your TV. In the first iteration, Samsung, LG, Toshiba, TP Vision and Panasonic will be supported.
  
• You sync the wallet created on your TV to your smartphone or your computer
  
• You start watching videos through the application
  
• You are automatically awarded tokens that you can exchange for Ether

We at TV-TWO are using the Open Source Apache Cordova Plugin TOAST for our TV Web Application development: Link to GitHub.

TOAST makes it possible to deploy our application to a range of platforms. This includes television sets from large manufacturers such as Samsung and LG, but also any regular web browser. The goal of TV-TWO is to establish blockchain technology on 700M Connected TVs. This is an enormous opportunity for the whole community: More and more people are interested in decentralized systems, but few have the knowledge to participate in the ecosystem. TV-TWO will change this by introducing the blockchain to everyone’s favorite gadget – the TV.

This means: The app automatically creates an ERC20 compatible wallet on the TV of the user and let’s him collect tokens for watching sponsored messages. The wallet can be easily synced to any computer or smartphone. Once synced, the tokens can be exchanged for Ether. Yes, the app is compatible with any kind of TV signal, may it be cable, satellite or terrestrial TV. You can either connect the signal source directly to the internal tuner of your TV or use an external receiver. Our application acts as an overlay on the existing broadcast signal.

Hi haggercody! User-generated content will form the basis. At the same time, we see that more and more rights holders are publishing social videos that are ideal for TV-TWO. May it be 3-5 minute recaps of Premiere League games from DAZN or 10-minute Sneak Peeks of Blu-ray releases from Warner Bros. As TV-TWO is an open platform, both large and small content providers are welcome. The way you skip through the videos will determine what you see.

I have come across a lot of projects. A lot of them seem average at best, a lot of them poorly thought out. I have to admit though, this project is unique in concept, executable, well thought out (judging from the white paper) and having an advisor with Ethereum and Microsoft experience certainly helps. Nice looking team too.
