I deposited 3 BTC with hitbtc.com to exchange for BCH

i bought 15 BCH and when i tried to withdraw my coins they keep the request pending for hours and hours

and from what i read after this delay some people waiting for days

i felt phishy and called my lawyer immediatly he told me after filing the complain with a court order we can force the domain registrar and hosting company to reveal owners

i have all screenshots and evidences of the scam attemp and i say attemp because i am still hoping they will send it

i will wait them no more than 6 hours and will start talks with my lawyer on how to get them

if they have a representative here reply to me !! because they dont reply to any support

here is the withdraw id :

The only active representative on forum is this guy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=194708, which has not been online for 3 days now. So i really doubt that they are going to respond to you within 6 hours.

If you feel like legal action is the way to go then go for it, but personally i don't think that it will work.

Should have done your research. HitBTC is like a landmine right now waiting for someone to step on. And unfortunately it seems like this time it's you. 15 BCH is no small amount to be lost, i genuinely wish you all the best. It could just be that their hot wallet for BCH is temporarily depleted, or you could also be potentially waiting months for your witdrawal to come. It's hard to tell right now.

That's horrible to say the least. I came looking around to see if I can find a solution to my problems with Bitmain and get some knowledge on how to deal with them. But these experiences are bad, really bad. That could be someones life savings bruh. Horrible. Sorry for your loss.

It takes few hours to withdraw BCH and BTC from the website lately and not days and days. If you could please update us and let us know what did they respond, it could help other users here.

after many emails they sent my coins without bothering to reply

for the delays this was Bitcoin CASH withdrawal it has no issue and no fee or lag like bitcoin so no reason for delay

BTW: i did 2 withdrawals at the same time one small and the other was this large one and the small one passed through in minutes Smiley

large amounts = get scammed

small pennies = easy withdrawals

i dont recommend at all

use at your own risk

I have often problems with HitBTC, trade carefully with this one, better to wait for better exchanges like Binance for your coins or tokens

I wanted to withdraw my riplpes and xmr and the massage was saying "currency operations not available".  What does this mean? I hope those guys send me my payments as yours was done. If we can not trade on main websites, how would these exchanges make money with new comers? That does not make sense.

I am very happy that your problem has been solved, now you must change the title of the thread, you can do something like this
" Hitbtc.com scamming me for 50k = 3 BTC and refuse to send my withdrawal till now [ resolved ] "

"There is no reason for an automated exchange to delay withdrawals" . full stop

You are right to never use their services, but be aware that the other exchanges are the same, take centuries to answer support tickets, do not have a customer service phone number, there are no physical office for better customer service. In short, all exchange has serious problems and are not reliable

You are so correct. Most of the exchanges have same problems; they simply refuse to answer any messages we send them and no service phone number at all. Wonder if they are short of hands or skewed up in the head with a stinking attitude.

I can confirm HitBTC is stealing users' funds under a false pretense of KYC/AML procedure. Withdrawal requests fail and the user is forced to provide all sorts of public information including ID, social network links and real IP without any just reason - a classic stalling tactic of an insolvent exchange.

HitBTC is clearly a SCAM as many other users have said. Keep away.
