Can you tell more about the agreement with one of the logistic companies? Why don't they fund you project by themselves? If it's a big company they could pay 7 million USD and get exclusive rights to your service and step ahead of competition this way.

We are under NDA, and cannot disclose the name of the partner until a certain milestone.

We are building an open ecosystem that will benefit all entities in logistics - and help modernize the industry. We are not interested in "exclusive" deals with one or few parties, and we do not like proprietary/closed systems.

Soft cap of the project is $1.5 million.

Interesting problems to solve

PAIN 1 - SPEED: These paper documents need to be sent from exporter to importer, and have an average travel time of more than a week while swapping hands of 2-3 courier delivery services.

PAIN 2 - LOST: The longer the voyage, higher the chances for documents to get lost or even stolen. Which would not be such a problem, if the replacement document wouldn’t require over 20 days to be re-issued!

PAIN 3 - COST: Cost of issuing and transporting one paper B/L document is between $100-$180.
