Hello
Thank you for your help. I have the possibility of filing a lawsuit in England. If you have the correct names of the founders, please send them.
regards
Hamid

According to some reports, the owners of Freewallet org are residents of the United Kingdom Dmitrey Gunyashov and Alexey Gunyashov and a guy from Russia named Vasilli Meschyerokov. Some witnesses also mention Andrey Savchenko as one of the investors.

Do you know any other crypto wallets with "inactivity fees"?
To me this is complete absurdity. Even fiat banks never charge such fees. Especially when these assemblies turned out to be very consistent in quality. This is reminiscent of banal asset theft. Here's another case.

This client had all his savings stolen. Moreover, the administration even refused to explain why this rule was suddenly introduced.
But there is good news! One of the victims recently achieved a refund. Based on the statement filed with the police, the company compensated for the losses! I believe that all victims should do this!

Thank you for this.  I am doing this right away.  I have been dragging my feet thinking I could smear them enough, make enough stink that I could get them to at least get my money out.  I am still going to do that, post on every reply they have with this forum and try and get the word out.  But I will go this route too.  They have turned on autoreply for me. Just told me they can not give me a timeframe.  Absolutely Ludacris!!!
I am in for ANY LEGAL ACTION! I just joined but I want to team up with anyone willing to fight.  They got 10k from me presently.

Here is the best info I have found so far, posting it here for all to see. I don't know who Bill Taylor is but he has done some leg work.  Also, seems there are subsidiaries we can go after:

https://www.publish0x.com/scam-wallet-freewallet/the-real-faces-behind-freewallets-deception-xmjlwko

https://www.publish0x.com/scam-wallet-freewallet/the-owners-of-the-largest-fraudulent-project-freewallet-xpxlyyo

https://forum.cardano.org/t/fraudster-helpers-who-helps-freewallet-scammers-steal-clients-money/126707

I found out that their domain is registered with Namecheap.com.  I contacted the legal department and how we can get them it down, even if it is only temporary.  I said I would pay them to do it.  Namecheap Legal and Abuse department (abuse@namecheap.com) is who I contacted.  That is another move we should all do.

I also contacted major Scammer Youtubers: scammerpayback@night.co, hello@kitbogashow.com. Another thing we should all do.  If we all apply pressure it will improve. Those are my suggestions. Lets get these scammers.

Thanks a lot!
I tried to contact such people. But some of them act weird - after I explain them the whole scheme they say "it's a lie we didnt find any negative reviews or complaints". It actually takes 2 min to find comments here or on some other platforms, like Reddit.
But I didnt mean exactly those 2 youtubers you mentioned.

The more people make a stink the more support we can muster to take these guys down.  Let's get them!  Saw something today.  Contacting takedownfreew@gmail.com, seems like a regular person, regular twitter user, @Happy20257757.  I am contacting him and trying to get invovled somehow. Lets get the word out!!! I don't care if I get my money back, I want Justice to be served.

New article outlining detail of scam:

https://medium.com/@tigew78507/freewallet-org-the-dangerous-app-8dbccb99b6d4

Has others on the site.  This is getting ridiculous that this much info is out there and law enforcement has not taken them down. This is crazy.

Just wondering, how many tickets should a client open and for how long should he wait (the screenshot was made on December 30) to get coins released?
Support often claims on websites and forums that it does not leave any customer requests unanswered. Perhaps this is true. I mean, the company sends answers. But in essence, customer requests remain unattended. When asked to unblock an account, the victim is asked dozens of questions, the documents sent are rejected dozens of times, and the company’s requirements are constantly changing.

Another issue. Another client whose assets are frozen. I am sure that the company, as always, will not be able to clarify the essence of the situation and will respond that “all the answers are in the correspondence.” But more than a month has passed, and the coins are still frozen... We are talking about ticket #504839

Walled created 6th august 2017. Income eth from various minning pools who dont remember. I noticed the withdrawal blockage on 19th september 2024. What happened: I wanted to withdraw coins from my account and I received an error message.

This is a message a customer received from Freewallet support in September 2024. The user noticed that he could not withdraw coins. You might think that we are talking about a newbie. But no. Above we showed a verbatim quote of what the client himself told us.

So, the client’s account functioned normally for more than 7 years. And suddenly the administration noticed “suspicious activity.” Do you really believe this? In fact, the Freewallet scam begins at the moment when a sufficient amount accumulates on the account to interest the scammers. This is precisely the real reason for blocking assets.

Any answer from Freewallet representative here?

One more story from a victim

it has been more than 9 months since freewallet has been reversing all transactions and I am not allowed to withdraw money. I have sent all the requested documents and identity verification. Just wait for the response. It is being reviewed. I have received it and they keep requesting duplicate documents. The latest ID is 540254. I have not received a response yet.

9 MONTH! Isn't it a scam? Can Freewallet representative answer, what's going on?

Looks like even here Freewaller representatives can't explain their actions.

I am yet another victim of Freewallet.

I deposited all my life savings in 2017 and always followed the evolution of my wallet through the app.

Now I have a family health problem and I need to withdraw the BTCs urgently and they simply blocked my account.

They asked for several documents and I sent them all, after that they disconnected me from the app and no longer let me connect with Facebook or any other means.
Now they no longer respond to me, I no longer have access to my wallet and they stole my coins!

I demand an urgent solution! Return my access to the app and unblock my coins.

Always the same old nonsense and they never give us access. They ask for unnecessary, old and in some cases impossible to obtain information, just to fraudulently take our coins.
No big and serious company like Binance, Bittrex, Bitfinex and others asks for the information they say is necessary. It's just an excuse to not give us access back.

I always had access to my account, password, Token, key, etc. They simply took away my access to the account after I requested the transfer unlocking.

Thanks for sharing your story.
I think it would be better to provide a ticket number. But as far as i know Freewallet usually ignores messages even on this forum.

a petition here with all the ppl scammed... as you can see, we're more than a hundred around the world: www.change.org/p/investigate-the-fraud-committed-by-the-owners-of-freewallet-org-26bd95f7-cfbc-4fa3-a24d-9d1692737ff7
I already filed an official complain to the national french police. Here's the document: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/06up9prjeworb6pbmymsn/2024-28464-ESCROQUERIE-CHAPPAZ-Jocelyn.pdf . I think everybody should do the same to their own national police/justice department. We should all signal their official page on Facebook, and other social medias. I will provide FB and others with all the documents from the official complain.

Everybody should file an official complain and then, share it. But be aware that they're russian and so, like me, you probably never will see your assets again.

There are dozens people from different countries who send their reports. The USA and UK, China and Thailand, Russia and Brazil, Iran and France. I know there are several local investigations going on already so we have good opportunity to stop scammers

Yes! If I'm not mistaken, in Thailand the local police sent an official request to FRWT for information. And as soon as the documents were received by the company, they immediately returned the opportunity to withdraw coins to the client in order to write a response stating that the problem had already been resolved and there was no fraud. I think that such cases will continue to occur. The main thing is that clients submit applications and do not give up.

Pay attention! There is a Freewallet representative on this forum. But every time, seeing uncomfortable questions and accusations of scams, he prefers to simply ignore user complaints. As in principle, technical support for this wallet always does!

It’s obvious that Freewallet is running a scam.
What’s worse: some crypto review sites still list them as "trusted," and major crypto news outlets aren’t talking about it. The fact that they still exist on Appstore and Playstore is ridicolous

I suggest we start contacting crypto media (Cointelegraph, CoinDesk, etc.) to report on this. There’s a real scandal here, and even links to HitBTC, another shady platform. More attention = more pressure = more victims protected.

If anyone’s already contacting journalists or wants to coordinate, reply here.

Time to make noise.
