Well, I guess IceDrill didn't get his answer, or he didn't post it.

I retain a positive outlook, but I'm adding my voice now to those saying that HashFast needs to step up to the plate with improved and more detailed communication.

HF doesn't have to publicly engage every itchy customer with 500 repetitive and pedantic questions and demands, but statements clarifying the state of affairs and the company's plans are in order.

It's important that these statements be specific and unambiguous.  They should not be laden with squishy qualifications or conditions that cast doubt on the meaning of what's being said.

Crisis Communication 101.  They teach crisis communicators some underhanded tactics, but some good stuff too. The cardinal rule of crisis communication is to get out in front with the facts.  Not getting out in front with the facts leads to rumors, conspiracy theories, anxiety and a disgruntled public... sound familiar?

Hashfast - update please.

sorry, another bad news

meanwhile KnC is talking about 20nm and 16nm, currently in development

Unbeknown to the community we are currently developing the next generation product in 20nm/16nm process with Alchip, and we have much more to offer our customers, both past and future with respect to our mantra of under promising, and over delivering, none of which we could have delivered upon alone.

sorry i had to block your avatar. cant stand this dully laugh in times of stress.  Wink

da f ??

Does your statement imply I should post good news, only, and leave the bad ones aside...?
Get some fresh air, coz you got me obviously wrong.
I'm not happy about your suffering, even if you might think I do.
Yes I'm KnC customer, but was very close to spend money on HF, too.

And if HF/Cointerra both fail KnC would have a too strong share of the market which can't be healthy in middle/long term...so no point for me to be dancing on tables.

In addition I think customers should stick together instead of f'ing each others, regardless of company money spend on - we already get f'ed by most manufacturers, no ?
An United ASIC Customer Union f'ing back with lawyers and such would be great  Wink  ..but unrealistic as well  Undecided

Check the winking emoticon at the end of his sentence.  Isn't that enough alone to show you he was having a joke?

Did that, doesn't seem to have helped, tough.

It does actually.  In addition to my "box of fans" criticism (among others), I happened to notice that the "update" on the Hashfast site with pictures of Ciara's assembly line, currently posted with the November 4th timestamp, was actually pushed out on October 28th.  I happened to have their site still open in a browser with the old version:

More chicanery, more stupidity, and more ammunition for their customers to claim fraud by inducement.  Keep it up.

Don't worry, once that we will have the machines in hands we will sue them anyway (at least, i will, just for the luz), and we will request to see the contracts with TMSC.
If it will come out that they promised delivery dates that would never be possible, or they have the chips in hand already and they are laying to us (improbable but possible, i don't know), we will find it out.

This is the positive of having nothing to lose, i guess.

You are an optimist since you think a device exists. They are not mining because there is no miner.

Statement about what?
Delivery time of Batch 1 and 2?
Or just the refund/coupon thing?

My guess would be an exciting announcement that HashFast has just inked a deal with Keystone to be their exclusive supplier of board standoffs for the Sierra and BabyJet products.
