rofl these cunts just keep changing the tos/website whenever they feel like it. This is getting more hilarious by the day.
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

"Unreasonable" is buying a supercharged Cadillac XLR because you want the high-compression 443 hp engine, then whining because it only takes premium gas.

No, what's unreasonable is being told you can't drive your new supercharged Cadillac XLR in weather warmer than 72F.

The ambient temperature warranty clause is largely a non-issue since there is no way for HF to verify this.

It does however illustrate the kind of thinking going on at HF.

That is completely unreasonable. Ambient below 72F ? WTF is going on over there at HashFast ?
HashFast is very busy assembling the first batch of true 3rd gen Bitcoin mining hardware.
These miners are not intended for home use.  In other words, commercial use only.
They aren't set-top boxes or your Playstation.  They need to be hosted in a temperature controlled environment, not your basement/garage/attic.
"Unreasonable" is expecting heavy-duty professional grade hardware to run reliably in an ad hoc amateur setup.

Not sure if serious or trolling...

Not if they are logging everything and reporting it back, or just logging it to check when they get it in for RMA, and of course checking to see if the logs have been altered, will that show in the TOS soon? Altered logs = VOID?

No, what's unreasonable is being told you can't drive your new supercharged Cadillac XLR in weather warmer than 72F.

Actually this is reality, where many FMIC equipped sports cars lose a lot of their power due to heat soak in hot summer conditions.

If it's hot, you'll have to tune down your TH/s to avoid overheating (or live with hardware errors)

Hashfast shall have no obligations for breach of warranty if the alleged defect or non-conformance is found to have occurred as a result of operation in an ambient temperature other than 5-22 degrees Celsius (40-72 degrees  Fahrenheit)

Better not mine during summertime!

Did they just say "warranty void if ambient temp goes over 22c"?

They did say initially on the web site that the BabyJet and Sierra requires a data center environment to run. Just be glad that it's only temperature and doesn't require a class 1 cleanroom!

"Unreasonable" is buying a supercharged Cadillac XLR because you want the high-compression 443 hp engine, then whining because it only takes premium gas.

You continue to not understand how to properly deal with customers. I think you really could be a stealth HF account because you have the same poor understanding of customer service that they are currently displaying.

No one invests $48,000 in BTC in a Playstation or a set top box. Spending that much money does come with an expectation of service from the company you have given your money too. People who buy luxury cars DO complain when there is a barely visible NICK on a part of the car.

Regarding your 72F comment - these boxes WERE INTENDED FOR HOME USE - they were sold as watercooled, low ambient temperature hardware that an enthusiast can purchase. Professional grade hardware does not come in a mini-tower form factor. The Sierra is a 1U - it goes in a rack, that's for a data center. No professional anything buys a mini tower. If you think BabyJets are heavy-duty professional grade hardware, then you know nothing about how the real world. I'm just lol'ing here imagining if my Dell rep every came to me and attempted to sell me something non-rackmountable for our data center.

Furthermore, the "unreasonable" update level was exactly what they were providing last month - updates were frequent and official responses were plentiful. It was only when things got busy that customer service got thrown out the window. I get that "they're busy working on our hardware", but the customer service skillset is not the same as the hardware assembly skillset, someone is not doing their job here and should be.

Look!
Someone that doesn't have Icebreaker in their ignore list!

amer, i tried for weeks, you are only doing it's game.

So HF, are you getting the refunds ready?

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

But I won't quote him anymore.

But , it's nice to get the pulse of it by his post , or how the shitty the situation really is.

On my HF invoice I have the term and condition 31. dec, i will not use it, I still believe, that they deliver before 31. dec.

I think the next HF update is the 6 th dec 2013. What do you mean?

each time you send a transaction don't forget to use a new address, each time you receive one also!

A neptune ? Isn't that a mining "device" for that failure of a company who doesn't even have a NDA with CIARA , and even had the nerve to ship some products?
