The MPP says "up to 4x advertised hashrate". Advertised hashrate = 400GH. Please correct me if wrong.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I believe this to be correct - 4x advertised (i.e., 400 Gh/s).

orig 400.
mpp 1200.
final modules for each jet.  4.

4x700 actual.  2.8Th final hashrate for each jet..

sounds like finally some better news.

Well, if the chip can do 800Gh/s and they give us 4 extra chips in addition to the BJ then that would be 800% MPP (900% if you include the extra 400Gh/s from the original BJ). I would be ok with that as long as they delivered it with-in a relatively short time frame (before Feb)

Deliver what before that time?
The order or the MPP ? =)))))

a) who said that the chip does 800GH? someone that said ops, i'm wrong, 2 hours after that? And yet people keep think that the chip does 800GH?
b) read the MPP how many times you want to understand that it's as vague as possible and __apart from the undefined delivery dates__ they can either ship you 4 chips or 400GH*4, depending on how they read it. Do you want your opinion to count? Get a lawyer.

There must be something wrong with eligius... the test unit is currently showing 1200GH/s for the most recent time intervals.
Multiple machines?

I have to admit that 800GH/chip, if stable, would be impressive to say at least. I wonder how the sierra is supposed to dissipiate 3kW of heat in its 4U. Not even recent and ultra high density datacenters can handle 30kW/rack.

With all the bad new/lack of news... and now the sudden outpouring of good news... I am not quite prepared to believe completely.
Maybe they could point a 2nd one (or a sierra) against a different pool to see if the numbers are consistent.

What if they ship those amazing 1PH/s BJ after the 31 of Dec and you accept the delivery anyway, refusing the refund, and you discover that they only go at 600GH top?
I think i could should expect such a move from them.

Ignoring power costs, my projections at 700GH on Jan 1st, and 4x (2800 GH) on Feb. 3rd give a total lifetime loss of 17BTC.  Which is a much smaller loss we were looking at before.

With 800GH the loss narrow to 11BTC/BJ1.

Would probably need to just space the units in the rack and limit it to like 14KW/rack densities.

Not aware of many DC that can accommodate 14kW.

Interesting - None I have have researched (well over a dozen) will accept multiple racks over 12kW.

With my calculations we should get our btc back with 700 on Jan 1 and 2800 on March 1 by July-August (when network hash rate will be around 65Ph/s)
