There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

This has become my favorite thread in the whole wide world.

That said, has anybody ever seen this guy--Jay--before?

FYI, he's found at at least one link of which I will prove that Long Dong Johnston, a.k.a. Cockmeier has known about Bitcoin since at least 2011. He's also found on the Mt Gox email dump. For a teaser... http://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1031318

Abram James Kottmeier (James Johnston) showing up on the Bitcoin scene for the first time around November, 2013, is a crock of shit!!!

JuicyAds.com Is A Scam

JuicyAds.com is a SCAM !
How so ?
JuicyAds.com cheats Advertiser by not paying Publishers.

Basically, JuicyAds.com STEALS banner from publishers (by changing the Ad codes) so that banners displayed at sites will earn publisher nothing while JuicyAds.com is pocketing full fees from Advertisers.

How Do I Know ?

I discovered something is amissed when some of my poupular sites made less than it used to be while when the traffic has also doubled due to some promotional effort. The thing is I also display banners from BlackLabelAds.com along with JuicyAds.com, and earnings from BlackLabelAds.com has increased accordingly but JuicyAds.com's has gone down !

So out of curiosity, I took a look at the stats, I found out only stats of certain banners is displayed at their site, I asked Jay (the scam artist boss of JuicyAds.com). And he instead asked me "your banner is Ad# 123456, right ? And he said the traffic for so and so banner/site is a very low ..."

I didn't suspect anything then. Weeks later, I noticed their stats actually show no traffic at all for one of my most popular site !

I asked them again, Jay the scammer himself responded and said the site has very low traffics (but stats from two other sources are telling me this is not true).

How Doe JuicyAds.com Do That (Scam)?

So, I decided to take at look at the Ad Code, guess what ? I found out the about 2/3 of Ads Code at my sites are completely different from the ones JuicyAds.com are selling to Advertisers!

In another words, I am displaying the ad banners just for fun while he collects all the revenue generated from Advertisers.

To straighten things out, I replaced the Ad Codes with the one JuicyAds.com is selling to Advertisers (many from my sites even have long term contract from Advertisers) and all of a sudden, all the stats of my banners skyrocketed at JuicyAds.com !

So I asked Jay the scammer what is happening ? He couldn't explain anything to me at all.

I may be one the very few performing publishers who happens to discover their unthinkable scam - I have heard of scammers who do not pay at all, I have never heard of scammer that steal banners from publishers like JuicyAds.com.

I asked for payment, they even refused to pay what is left in my account (they have been stealing 2/3 of the banners from me all the times !).

In the end, I have no choice but to start deleting my account and along the process, I must have alerted some Advertisers because I actuall "rejected" many of the long term Advertisers on my site, then only Jay finally responded and asking stupid questions ... But I have decided to expose their scam.

You have been warned.

For sake of argument, assuming Barber and De Castro are okay guys (I know, a stretch, considering), you telling me that neither one of them was wise enough to do due diligence on Long Dong Johnson and Scrotum.

I want to be very clear! I don't believe there is any direct relationship with this gang and BitPay with the exception of them being used as a payment provider.

 Hi all.

 * Anybody not in Batch 1, don't read this.
 * Anybody in Batch 1 who believes that HashFast is going to do the right thing voluntary, without a gentle nudge from us, don't read this.
 * Anybody in Batch 1 who believes that the right way to deal with HashFast is to open more communication channels with them, don't read this.

For the rest of you:

I have found a lawyer who is willing to take our case, and help us get our BTC back, if we can cooperate.)

The name is Ray E. Gallo.

Please make up your minds about him; I think he is great. (85% winning percentage, and specialized in class and mass actions alleging large scale fraud.)

Some data:

http://gallo-law.com/attorneys/gallo.html
http://www.avvo.com/attorneys/94901-ca-ray-gallo-291467.html
http://www.avvo.com/attorneys/94901-ca-ray-gallo-291467/reviews.html    <= reviews
http://www.linkedin.com/in/raygallo

(Now I let you experienced Google detectives jump on him.)

  * * *

After exchanging around 100 mails with me, and analyzing all the documents and evidence with his team, he thinks we can probably win this case for Batch 1 customers who have paid in BTC. (But of course there is no guarantee.)

As you all know, class action is forbidden by the (ever-changing) Terms of Service, but (by the nature of thing) "mass action" is not, and can not be.
So we can proceed in a “mass” basis: the same attorney working with multiple clients simultaneously.

This is like a class case in that it will give us some leverage by aggregating claims so that we can do more work on the matter.
It’s different in that they can make us try (arbitrate) every case.
(Which means that individual cases might end with success or failure independently of each other, but we can optionally pool the results, if we want to reach a fair distribution at the end.)

  * * *

Since the legal costs are (usually) pretty high, this might well be the only way to go for small customers like me, who have only bought 1 or 2 units.
(It would not make any economic sense to hire a such a strong lawyer on my own, but together, we might be able to make it.)

Ray Gallo is ready to take the case on a contingent basis, so we don't have to pay up-front; his fee comes down from the money recovered from HashFast, if we win.

The key to make this work is to collect enough participants.
He said that he is willing to take the case if there are at least around 30 Baby Jet worth of customers.

Now the question is, how many of you would you willing to participate in such an arrangement? I have 1 BJ.

DISCLAIMER: I know others are also talking to other lawyers, too. I'm not saying that everybody should stop what they are doing and stop proceeding along those lines; I
am just saying that this looks like a very good opportunity to me.

Anybody who is interested, please contact him directly via his own page, which I have linked above.

The deadline is this Friday. We have to collect enough customers by then.

Best wishes:

Hey guys, I've gone ahead and created a thread for documenting the various versions of their ToS, which should help customers provide their lawyers with copies of the particular ToS they agreed to:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=402364

Please let me know if there's already a resource like this. If not, please refer anyone you see in this thread or elsewhere on the forums with a copy of the ToS to that thread. I know there've been a few people who have posted copies in this thread, but they're buried underneath all the other chatter.

Thanks!

Nary a one, but detest scammers. And this is coming from someone who's still waiting for 1,100+ BTC from InstaWallet, but Davout is currently working on it according to our last email exchanges. Also, I turned a guy onto Bitcoin here in Sandwich, and he's still waiting for his $10K worth of BTC at the time to be returned from Bitcoinica/Mt Gox. That fucking issue should have been over a long time ago.

I think the usual amount is 25% - 50%. His offer is within that range, too.
