Interesting reading. Thanks, Pete (and good luck with your own lawsuit). Also interesting is that the case was filed on Dec. 2nd 2013 and BFL has been aware of it since early Dec. Also according to the court documents, they knew that their mailing address was wrong in early December which is why they weren't receiving notices when they were getting sued by that other guy in small claims court back in November. Wasn't that one BFL guy in this thread throughout Dec. claiming he didn't know why they never heard about it? He is either incredibly incompetent or a pathological liar. Which gives credence to our words against his/companies practices. Neither BFL nor its attorney, James M. Humphrey, responded to Ars’ repeated requests by phone and e-mail for comment.
Meissner’s attorney, Robert Flynn, told Ars that he has already been contacted by “multiple” people, including other local attorneys with similar complaints, although this is the first suit that he’s filed. If Meissner’s case is successful, it appears likely that it could pave the way for future litigation against BFL.

Related but unrelated, my lawyer's proxy tried to serve the documents to the address on the HashFast invoice yesterday, and failed. The number (175) simply doesn't exist. What was the full address? I want to make a collection of all the fake addresses OR all the addresses with "bad" information. (such as the previous one with a wrong zip code.)

So, CT and HF are shipping peanuts. KNC is busy building datacenters. Everyone else is shipping overpriced old gen hardware, hopefully in low quantities.
BUT, the network hashrate increased 10PH during the last month. That's something like 40 times HF batch 1.
I guess that no one see anything strange with it.

You are forgetting bitmain. http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1Nbq2XZaRsKknf5fcT2wTXvBS31PaUWSeXThese guys have been pretty much confirmed to be a bitmain mine. There is also bitfury who controls his own production and still has the most efficient chip out there. I seem to recall one of the bitfury folks saying, when they got their first wafers, that they would be able to easily pump out the petahash without issue (I assume the case would be the same for HF). I agree with the commenter in the other thread that we are approaching the endgame where only the chip manufacturers will be left in the mining game due to the poor ratio of btc price in to btc price out for consumers.
