We started to, then when the time came to come up with $$ nobody wanted to go through with it.

Huh? AFAIK, it's still going through. De Gallo's offices haven't communicated anything to indicate otherwise.

It's not a "HashFast" Production line per say. They do not own the fabrication plant. Whoever has the money to create the boards gets boards created which from the sounds of it seems that HashFast is out of that and forced to sell chips. This is why their own customers are not getting any products. Technically anyone buying chips from them seems to be helping them get out of the red and afford boards for their own customers.

*Disclaimer - I don't agree with what HashFast is doing (Selling chips before getting their own customers boards out), but they are doing it and I'm not going to not buy from ActM or PepperMining (I'll likely get a couple of those boards too) because of it.

While I understand it is your job to nitpick at every detail, can you get to the point of what you are trying to say?

We know these are HashFast's Chips and Board revisions.

ActM is simply acting as a reseller of sorts, much like Cognitive/Blackminer/PepperMining (With the exception of MrTeal creating a custom board (Kudos to him)).

I'm sure there will be others doing this as well as long as HashFast is alive (If they don't die out from the barrage of lawsuits heading their way)

Ok, that's certainly food for lawyers. Yeah, HF is bankrupt.

Bounty for whoever finds the secret datacenter.

So actually what kslaughter did was spend his investors BTCs on 3rd party crap/overpriced hardware(Avalon and HashFail) instead of developing his own chips after 3 failed projects. Such a mess. Props for his if he reaches 1 year from IPO with absolutely nothing except refunds and dust dividends!

I am batch 3, I have send a refund request to Hastfail...and it was confirm by Erin from Hashfast on 15 january 2014. Look how long it takes before they processed a refund. Its now 3 april, and still no refund. And they say that they refund as the order came in. redicilious. I am now waiting 2 month and 19 days , nearly 3 months u can say, and still no refund. They still have to pay me 7000 usd.
So imaging the ones that ask their refund after 15 january 2014, if i dont even got a refund jet.. how long will this process will be for the others??

I am not involved in a HashFast production line. That was a proposal that never went through.

fast-hash... really? Is that the best they could come up with?

I also love how that board is a rev 2.1, rev 2.2 and rev 2.3 at the same time.

Well to Be honest VMC had the name Fast-Hash Long before HashFast came about
so it was HashFast that Took the name from VMC

"What could possibly go wrong?"   Roll Eyes   So since the teenager isn't going to bail the "adults" out anymore, the hapless adults are left to fend for themselves.

If Hashfast is on the verge of broke, and it seems to me like they may be, I suspect that individually or severally, Edward, Simon, the apparently departed Scrotum and Long Dong, and god knows who else have probably squirrelled away BTC and/or hardware (the "hidden data center" or something like that).  I sure hope that these various legal processes are set up so that some very aggressive discovery can be done in the personal finances of its current and former directors and employees.  I'll bet a lot of the money did just go "poof" on wild spending, but these guys are such schemers, I'm sure there are some personal "rainy day funds" to be found and distributed to creditors.

I thought they couldn't legally release/utilize funds of their customers until they actually shipped it?

Here is Simon Barber's phone number

(Mod edit: I removed the number... sharing info thats likely to help is fine, but all this accomplishes is harassing people. I don't think thats how we should be conducting ourselves around here. -gm)

He won't answer. But you can leave a voice mail. Contact with anyone at HashFast in one way like it has always been after they missed their deadline.

waldohoover, have you shared that email with the fine folks over at hfrefunds.com? That sort of thing would be very useful to them.

We started to, then when the time came to come up with $$ nobody wanted to go through with it.

I wouldn't say 'nobody'...  because that's not true. We even had several shareholders offer to put up 20-25% each.

I feel like I missed something. I paid up, myself. But I have no idea how many other people paid up, and I don't recall any of the shareholders offering to put up 20-25%. :-S

Just text him "In bitcoin mining, time is everything."  Every hour, on the hour.  Forever.

And hey Eddie De Castro, you shit-for-brains MBA (I always thought "business" should be taught in vo-tech schools, alongside welding and toilet repair), when your shit started hitting the fan back last year, if you had listened to people like me, there's a decent chance that your company, in cooperation with most of its early customers, could have found a way out.  Instead, you idiot, you circled your wagons and started shooting at the very people who had the greatest interest in creating some sort of arrangement with you to enable your obligations to be met, and your company to survive.  You dumbass.  Go get a job collecting trash on the side of the road.

We discussed it in waldo's HF thread. I'm not going to trash anyone here, let's just say there are differing opinions in the group buy about what to do about a refund. Waldo has positioned himself outside of the sphere of responsibility on this one I'm afraid. I understand why, he is making a profit either way, so there's no incentive for him to provide that level of leadership.

most people from vo-tech schools are cash positive their whole life...  don't see any plumbers, welders or even garbage collectors with $100k debt of student loans, etc

and anyone who got scammed from hash-fast shouldn't be calling anyone a dumbass  Cool

Still waiting of my refund...!!!!!!!!! batch 3, confirm by Erin since 15 january 2014,

I ask in which querie i am to pay out, but they dont want to answer that.

I ask which timeframe they take to payout batch 3 customers, -NO ANSWER

So i have no clue when they pay me out, they make me fcking nervous because i dont understand why a company like them cant tell when they pay out?

My request was already confirmed on 15 january 2014, and im still waiting... even after 31-3-2014 garanteed delivery pass away, they stilll dont send me nothing.

Now i email them, they ignore me everytime, i call them, they ignore..

But if u want to order 1 of that EVO boards, they react 5 times in 24 hours.

Hashfast = worser then BFL or even..

Just an update for my favourite thread.
"ActiveMining" will pump out 5000 HF boards this month. There are many other manufacturers that will do the same, but since that we don't know their numbers, let's just limit to this guys for now.

5000 boards * $800/ASIC = $4M. Obviously that wasn't the sell point of the ASICs. Let's suppose it to be 500$, that's still $2.5M.
That's plenty to produce their own manufacturing line, pay some debts and push out every pending order (batch 1 to 4).

So depending on how many other new "ActiveMining" will come out on the next months, HF will have influx of multiples of $2.5M.

I'm really looking forward with them claiming to be bankrupted in the next months.
