Can someone share some general information on how much bitcoins miners are earning relative to hardware.

Say for example, if someone has an entry-level mining rig with only one RADEON 7950 GPU and leaves the computer on all day, how much bitcoins are they currently earning?

If there is a chart posted somewhere, please share the link or point me in the right direction.  Thanks.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

7950 is around 500 MH/s, so you'd make about 0.01 BTC / day and pay about 90% of that in electricity.

Well, my rig gets 2500 khash for scrypt with 4 7950s and it gets about 0.15 BTC per day mining alts. I'd say thats pretty good.

That seems pretty good -- at https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=2500&difficulty=894.19816801 it says that 2500 kH/s earns 2.8 LTC which is 0.08 BTC ($7.64).  You must be using 1000W, or around $3.50.  So you're doing 4x better than the predicted net of approximately 0.04BTC per day
