how is bitcoin better than other coin ??. bitcoin has been in the kriptocurency world for almost a decade, and bitcoin is the first possible cryptocurency, the bitcoin is better than the other coin

I don't think realistically anything will usurp bitcoin of its throne. The reason for this is mainly because of first mover advantage and I would argue that any problem bitcoin has in regards to fees and block size can be solved in a debate and those rendering those other coins as no match for it. When lightning network gets activated I can't see why an altcoin would overthrow it all.

Bitcoin transactions are still getting confirmed within 10 minutes if you will include current recommended fee so it is not slow. Fees are high because people are paying very high fees to get confirmation faster and fees is not always high. Bitcoin will always be at 1 because it still dominate crypto market by 45% which might even increase in future. Bitcoin cash is clone coin fueled by hype created by few millionaires, it is most manipulated coin. |

I think in time ethereum will become the no 1 coin, it can offer many things that bitcoin can and also is the platform used for many many other coins. In time bitcoin will probably be replaced by many others, right now it is probably just biggest because it came first. |

Bitcoin cash can never replace bitcoin it doesn't has any such traits which makes it special in front of the traditional BTC all it has got is that it is the first ever bitcoin hard fork. I personally believe it is a sheer scam and if you ask me which coin could potential surpass BTC its surely ethereum with a way better blockchain. |

In time bitcoin will probably be replaced by many others, right now it is probably just biggest because it came first. Ethereum has even bigger problems. They are not even close on being number 1 and they have some serious scaling issues. And the way to fix that makes the wholes segwit/8m/s2x drama look like a walk in the park. With LN bitcoin still has some chances of becoming a currency, ethereum as it is it's only for tokens and shady ICOs, nothing more. |

I agree that BTC high transaction fees and slow confirmation are shifting BTC market to other altcoins. BCH seems to be the best alternative to that it is a first fork of BTC and also people have trust on it after BTC and ETH. So I think BCH can replace BTC in long-term

The real problem of bitcoin are the transaction fees, nothing more, and yes, of course that the time that we have to wait to receive some confirmations over our transaction are a big headache, but that is normal, i dont know why everybody is complaining about it.

It's not better than other coins, it is just the first coin. Bitcoin Cash is also not better than other coins it is just a slight alteration on bitcoin itself, just like litecoin is. Ethereum is the best contender at the moment I think, but there are loads of interesting projects that could become a hit too. |

Are you smoking or what? Bitcoin Cash? Just because the price is being pump right now does it mean that it will take over. But I agree that the issues of high tx fees and slow confirmations are now the biggest threat to its existence. However, bitcoin already gain the full trust of most investors. Just look at how whales are coming out of the closet, just check the news, you will heard a lot of them claiming that they have this X amount of bitcoins and predicting that the price will go $20K-$50K or even $1m in the future. As long as investors willing to pour cash into the market, bitcoin will remain the king of cryptos. ETH comes to my mind that might possible replace bitcoin in the future because its really a better, technology wise, specially with the smart contracts that a lot of companies are looking to apply or even replace their existing system. But it will take a lot of effort for any coins to really overtook bitcoin now, specially its now a store of wealth and financial institutions already embracing it with their bitcoin future contracts offering. |

It's hard to say whether it is the best BTC was the first one. Another coins are really copies. Of course, in a sense. It is certainly a currency. The problem is their small number that remained.

Bitcoin is one of the oldest cryptocurrencies it is more popular among vendors and also more valuable than many altcoins too. It has much more support and even after China's Banning it still countinued to rose. Currently btc cash is not quite popular so it will take time for it to overtake btc. |

There other better coins already out there but bitcoin was the first to market and the most well know .Also most of the cryptos systems run on it sort of like a gold standard

It is the pioneer in cryptocurrency so the buyers think that bitcoin is safer that those new cryptos. It is the best investment for those traders because of high growth rate. And no one owns bitcoin unlike those ICOs that are potential scam.
