unconfirmed since many hours. paid 1700$ !!!! in fees for this transfer because of the many inputs but just doesnt confirm.

how long can i expect it to be confirmed?

Your fee is 271.385 sat/B - this is very low since the network is congested.

Do you own the sending and receiving addresses?

unfortunately not, they were sent from an exchange. And they are unresponsive :/

So there is no way I can rebroadcast the transaction or bump fees etc.

I can only wait and hope, right :/

or is there any way to speed this up?

I am very disappointed and for sure will not use Bitcoin anymore until this problem is fixed. Honestly - 1.700$ in fees and still not enough? I go to Western Union or do a cheap SWIFT transfer for 25$.

I praise Bitcoin for its protocol and decentralized network, but this is not usable/acceptable for anybody.

Since you do not own the sending address there is nothing you can do at this moment... It will confirm at some point i think.
