Anyone having issues with bitmarket.eu selling their coins for lower than they entered? I entered sell order for 12.5EUR and it keeps trying to sell them at 9EUR. I have to keep trying to cancel with the buyers.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I will once they unfreeze the coins that have been sold below the rate I entered. Just wondering if anyone else is getting this problem and to warn others to watch out for it.

^^ this

What settings did you use on the trade? i.e any stop/limit, market, etc etc?

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

Settings are simple. Price per 1BTC? I entered 12.5EUR it sells for 9EUR.
They just added a moneybookers and a dwolla service today so I reckon they messed up their code somewhere when adding this.

I had the same problem. It started once Dwolla was plugged in.  Smiley

Are you sure, you entered your order without typo?

I've got only good experience with Bitmarket so far, selling this weekend last time.

And it happend already twice to me, that my counterpart asked for cancellation because of a typo on his side.

Perhaps you should write an email describing your problem to BitMarket staff.

Hey,

First I thought it was a typo then I tried again after the counterpart allowed the cancellation and it happened again. I have emailed and Twitted them to let them know. No response yet.

good work.
Is there any details we can see on what exactly caused the issue to begin with?

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

Why do people use C2C exchanges at all?

You are exposing your personal details to a total stranger with no credibility, esp. if you divulge wire info they can grief you a lot if they're bitter.
(And they're slow)

Sure you can say the same about TH or Gox but they're automated exchanges dealing with huge volumes.

So I can buy straight away (by that I mean their frozen) without waiting several days for money to transfer to an exchange.

On the other hand there is no single entity to be breached to leak account info of thousands of people.
