Emmetropia is a token born from my imagination as I watched the crypto world.
I started trading, so I bought a partial Bitcoin. I had a hard time buying the Altcoin I want so I was delayed.
But then, Bitcoin’s price fell down so I was able to buy less of the Altcoin I want just because I got delayed.
And, no, the Altcoin’s price didn’t move that much.
I asked myself, “What if instead of using Bitcoin or Ethereum, we can buy Altcoins using real money like the US Dollar?”
But I answered my own question after a few seconds.
In the online world, if you want to buy something using USD, you will have to use Paypal or credit cards.
And applying that in the world of crypto currencies defeats the purpose of decentralization.
Plus, the fact that they can always file disputes with Paypal or their banks to get their funds back.

Your project is very ambitious and i can say it's like an impossible dream, but i knew that everything is possible especially nowadays. But still, in my humble opinion, your choice of platform is wrong, for you choose the waves platform which is not a great platform and being in this field since 2014, i never saw a waves token that made marks on this field, everything created on that platform is a flop except the waves itself.

I'm curious what kind of blockchain are you going to develop for your own. I am currently working on that. (Not on the blockchain, but on the announcement.) It's extremely difficult for me to think of an analogy to explain how our Blockchain 2.0 will work wihtout giving out some technical details. But we will announce everything once we have it patented. And I also noticed that the TEAM section of the original ANN is not included in my backup copy of the ANN. We wont stay in the Waves platform forever. We are going to be Waves-tenant until we completed the Blockchain 2.0. But then I decided to announce this project before somebody "comes up" with my idea. |

What do you mean that all others cryptocoins of billions dollars valuation are not real ? You chose some kind of tricky words to promote and market the project.

Somehow, yes. They are not currencies anymore. They became assets. Emmetropia will be different. We will behave like an asset in the 1st year or 2, but after that we will become the realization of what Bitcoin was originally intended for. A replacement to the fiat monetary system. |

I think steady but slow growth is good for Emmetropia but I understand it needs to be compared to the USD. I think Emmetropia will attract people who prefer comfort and less volatility even though Bitcoin is rising rapidly.

Thank for this promising project. But I really worry about your vision "Be the only cryptocurrency people can HODL in their wallets without fearing its value dipping". In my opinion, the only currency not fear dipping is Bitcoin. Lol

Time will come when all 160M Coins are circulating in the market. At that point, we won't be able to add more coins into the system. The only option left is to increase the value of EMM to accomodate the lack of supply and high demand. |

If community will think you have strong and realistic platform and purpose then Emmertopia will be successfull.
