Will it be minable with GPU soon?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

hi - awesome under the radar coin launch! Been mining since last night but I've noticed the difficulty increasing a lot.

I hope this does get listed and can go places - good luck Wink

if your mining come to http://bitcoin-pool.de/  pool fee is cheaper and we need a few more miners.. spread the hash around so its not all in one pool... incase there is a ddos attack... or the website has issue all mining wont stop. thanks

C'mon? No Win Wallet yet? This is ridiculous! How long are you going to go, Dev, before you start working on getting XCOIN listed? I wouldn't wait too long, people will likely lose interest if its not soonish -- 4 or 5 days max, imo.

If I could code I'd help work on this. Sorry.

First i think he is a solo Dev so it might take a little more time for him to get things done. Either way i like coins like these, a non-hyped up, simple project that someone was experimenting with and the decided to make it public. These are the type of coins i am into and i am sure a lot of other people are into  as well, so i can wait and be patient. I like this coin and i do think it has a future.

Never heard of this algorithm. Someone mentioned it is the same as bitcoin.

If that is the case, will that make it realistically mineable through gpus?

If different algo, what is it like to mine?

XCOIN pool with 0.1% fees!!!
MINERION.COM

Just point your miners to:
Code:
-a hmq1725 -o stratum+tcp://minerion.com:3747 -u your wallet -p c=XCOIN

lets bring some hash to the network with 0.1% fees on the pool

It's not the same as bitcoin, it's mineable through CPU and GPU. Not sure what it's like mining with GPU but it's relatively easy to mine as part of a pool with CPU.

For all those waiting, I managed to compile the wallet from the github's source. I will share my documentation to the OP in the next few days so that the community can benefit for additionnal trust.
