I have been watching bittrex all day and in the last few hours the volume of BTC has increased significantly due to panic selling. BTC actually hit $14,400 today so at $15,490 right now its actually recovering a little bit.

Yeah I can attest to that. I've had to grit my teeth as a new investor and listen to all the HODL! advice. It doesn't make sense to panic and sell at this point in time because I'd be losing a thousand bucks for no reason. All it takes to turn it around is for the price to bottom out at some steady value (seems like 15k range is it) and everyone will try to scoop up some more BTC for a quick gain. That should cause the price to head back up.

Impatient people mostly doubt when they see price kicks for more and this time is not the right time to get panic and mostly this time is the best time for opportunity gathering since we can even earn more money if we would grab some bits on our hands. And high patience people will be the gainers for this flactuation game of bitcoins.

That is probably all that i tried to explain to this random newbies out here saying "Oh hell, no, i am going to invest my investment! I bought at $8000 and i am now worried about seeing the price over $16000 because it dropped!" Came on newbies, stop spreading fud.

if you meant high fees, then you are absolutely right, i am going to receive a payment on localbitcoins in a few hours because i want to sell some bitcoins, and i need to pay $25 WORTH OF FEES, only to see it on my wallet.

it's a typical correction. during this epic rally, we have regularly seen 30-40% drops along the way. if history is any guide, then we should probably be ready for the price to drop another 10-15%.

we could actually drop significantly lower than that and still keep the logarithmic uptrend intact. right now, the trend line i am tracking is ~ $8,100 and rising. as long as we don't break below that trend line, then the parabolic trend can form a new slope and continue. as long as the trend holds, i expect a very strong bounce and eventual new highs.

I thunk better to buy bitcoin now because for sure after few days of dumpong maybe next week we see again the price become 100k dollars and if that happen we can make more profit. Since it's impossible to know the exact reason, we'll just assume that it's a normal correction due to the market being exhausted. It might look like a bad thing for some people, but we just have to accept this ~ it's Bitcoin after all.

It requires so much liquidity to just keep the price around current levels, that if there is not much fuel left to thrive the market further, we'll go down, it's simple as that. It will be a healthy pull back.

It allows fresh capital to enter the market due to them now being granted a better (cheaper) entry point. I don't know where this will go, but I can't really see it falling below the $10,000 mark again, at worst, a potential test of that level.

If it was serious as people are worried about, the price would have dropped much money by this time and much faster. I don't think it's strange as we saw BTC price increasing on the same speed or even faster days ago. The reason is just some whales wanting huge profit as always...

Yeaaa what i believe is that people mostly withdraw their bitcoin into fiat becsuse of in needs shopping for christmas.
After the new year it might get recovered ( not sure actually ) as if before the new year bitcoin get dropped too much.
People will feel have nothing to do but wait until it reach the lowest.
